lovepreet singh, 15 Jan 2009i m bored with my n82 and want a touchscreen phone....Don't do that, you've allready got the better phone. Diamond is slow, buggy, not that great sound, takes bad pictures. And it'll get scrathes just by looking at it.
Maybe we could swap phones? I miss my old N73, but still hated the slowness in the menus.. Perhaps that have been changed in the N82?

Hi folks. I am a Nokia E61i user for last 1 year. It satisfies me in every aspect except the speed thing. Its too slow and while you have more and more SMSs, it opens a new SMS in almost 2 minutes. Same is the case with multiple applications. I wish to buy HTC diamond and its specifications look good but I would love to have feedback from a user of this model.

i have a problem with my htc diamond..its word completion is not working..i had upraded with the latest window also..but no use....
ass i am the pocketPC softwaring expert...then also this is the 1st prob which i cant solve....

Hi, I am wondering how to turn ON the LED beside the ear piece. I wish the LED can provide indication of message received, low batt warning, miss call, bluetooth and etc.

Thanks for the answer. But i have one more question, if i buy original battery from htc 1340mah will the size of the phone be the same or it will be bigger? And where can i buy original battery online in the USA?

S, 23 Jan 2009VERY IMPORTANTE Can anyone tell me if i buy stronger bat... more1800 mah battery is HUGE AND ITS COPY , ITS NOT ORIGINAL!! and diamond became very unlgy and big. buy the original battery from htc 1340 mah

Hia there people,
i confess it is a very chic and stylish phone but so dumb on features and it's too slow, unlike having good prossesor and high RAM and ROM its too slow on function esp. while opening several programs simultaneously! and reboot at times! also it's too fragile and scratch easily and your finger trace will remain on the sensitive touch screen forever! it's body is also too fragile...touch cruise will work better and faster i prefere! so don't be decieved by just the stylish model!

This phone is not worth buying. Its locks up frequently and it is slow.

VERY IMPORTANTE
Can anyone tell me if i buy stronger battery for this phone (like 1800 mAh) how much thicker this phone will be? And is the extra back plate i receive with that battery look the same as the original one? And if someone have bought stronger battery for this phone, can you tell me where did you bought it.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2009HTC Touch Diamond processor is low and its effect on speed ... moreyou need to update your rom and radio there mate the cpu/gpu in the htc touch diamond has better specs than a psp ie 538mhz vs 333mhz. the gpu is allocated 64mb ram for video acceleration and 3d graphics all deliverd on a vga screen 'sweet'. your left with 128mb ram out of 192mb this is probably the diamonds weakest area it could have done with 256mb ddr ram. an extra 64mb to compensate the loss to the gpu. oh well the hd has this small improvment but the video quality doesent look as good as on the diamond

roy_azharis, 16 Jan 2009Why I cannot run Getting Started CD on my PC thus unable to... moremake sure that you install flashplayer 8 via internet explorer and not firefox then the cd contents will install. alternativly you can download activesync v4.5 free by searching google there was only 1 cd with mine and it had little on it you dont need any drivers for the diamond. incl on cd is outlook express 60 day trial for the pc wow. and a user manual in pdf format cheapskates something to do with orange ill bet.

my screen is not rotating if I turn the mobile, any setting needed to activate that ? how the scroll wheel works ? no scrolling as well. thanks

i have purchased a HTC diamond device 1 month back but as i was thnking before purchasing the device will be very good but doesn't upto my expectation bcoz it has comes some problems like display problem and Software problem and his battery backup is also quit low as compare other PDA device i need to help wat i do.

HTC Diamond is a very gud looking phone but feature wise is a very Dump like it has low bettery back up and from service part nobody can entertain to the customers so please improve our services and quality.
