Question....
I live in Canada on the Rogers network and am looking at purchasing the touch pro or touch diamond.
If i buy this phone unlocked...will ALL the features be usable?
I've bought unlocked phones before and i can never use the WAP browser, internet, MMS (picture and video messaging)....etc....those are mainly the features that won't work.
all the basic features work like SMS, calling, etc.
Am i limited to only buying the phones from Rogers?

Cant send SMS - India Vodafone
when i try to send an SMS it says to check the service centre number and when I check in settings it does gives another error regarding data connections. Can some one please tell me what to do.

This is an interesting phone. The touch screen is large and clear. I like the placement of the controls. The menu is a bit complicated to navigate, for instance there is no obvious way to start a call.

The fun is wonderfull in terms of features. The proceesing capability is low which causes it to look like the performance is low. I use it in Chennai , India. The Phone re-boots automatically when i make or get an coice call. The HTC Service also is phathetic its been 2 months since i got a responce from them. I should have thought twice before i bought the phone

B, 15 Jan 2009Does the screen scratch easily?hi there htc phone is great,you hve aske if it scratch easely,Yes it does all you have to do is be carefull everytime you have used it and put it down put it on the face of the phone,you can also get a protection paper for it,also a phone sock becaus the out side can also damage,hope it will help cause thats what i do all the time and i love my phone.....benita

hi i bought htc,wonderfull phone but how do i transfer my download files and bluetoot files,music,i also would like to chang my screen on homescreen and is there any software that i can download to change my phone to a user friendly phone for my use,cause currently im not so happy with it,and the battery even if i charg it after 30 minuts its low,if there is anyone that can help me plz feel free to help me.........benita

I just ordered the Diamond. Have done sufficient research and read all the user feedback, but i am reminded when i first got my pc then my laptop: at first you do not know how to operate such a machine but once you get the hang of it so many possibilities are unlocked. EXCITED BOUT MY NEW POCKET PC DIAMOND: CAN'T WAIT :-D

hey people if u are having hanging problem and all just update yor phone to version 1.93 its really worth it,as it removes the problems and make phn really fast,and as per the battery is concerned just !(1) switch off the beam
(2) go to setting,advanced network,disable hsdpa/hsupa as it is big battery sucker..
(3) go to phn setting,go to band,choose yor network type to gsm.....
(4) download g light software for yor phn it will control screen light according to the light sensors its really good.....and trust me yor battery will stay longer and much better than before.....atleast 1 and half day with good usage....like it used to get over in just 1 day...with theses recommendation yor standby of phn will also improve.....trsut me tey these things....it will help u a lot.....me also a user of this phn really found it better through these setting....and just post yor reply if u find it good...thanku

Why I cannot run Getting Started CD on my PC thus unable to to do syncronization.My PC OS is Window XP. It always requires to instal Adobe Flash Player 8.1 or above for CD to run and starts the setting.

HTC Touch Diamond processor is low and its effect on speed so improve our processor.

I bought one of these phones last week from someone at work for £80 and can say that it is great. i have no problems with freezing at all with it and have also had tomtom version 7 sat nav put onto it for free. great phone for internet users socially would recommend

To start with this is good. After a week this unit started alignment problems. I have to correct this every I use this one. Its ridiculous. Im not the only one with this problem. Many users worldwide has this issue and HTC isnt helping much. Charging for this correction big time. HTC is selling defects and charging us for correction.

I would always choose BLACK, but it's what you feel comfortable with.
