I had this phone for a bit more than a month and I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed. The performance is awful, very slow buddy. It's not very well organized, like they were trying to make it as fast as possible to lunch before iPhone 3G and just focusing on the looks rather than inside quality... I'd recommend the iPhone.

Samira, 10 Sep 2008Im due to get this phone in the morning!!! (can't tell you ... moredear samira, To use youytube on the phone, you either connect to wap using your gprs (which will cost you), or using the wifi which will be free because you pick up your home broadband signal.

Mine went back after it died after only 3 weeks - not impressed - performance was very poor - had to reboot daily - fancy UI was a joke - older HTC much better - only good point was the better wireless capability. If you want I-phone performance and features by an I-phone dont waste youtime with a phone that has 1 day battery life at best

Im not that technical but really love the look of the phone which is why i went for it!!! (typical girl hey!) so all I need to do is switch wi-fi on and will that be the one you tube uses instead of GPRS am I right? Thanks again!

Abo El-Seem, 12 Sep 2008i have bought this deice in July 2008, it's a wonderful dei... morei have had non of these problems.... i dont get it everybody complains about these things but i have had none of the problems exept that it freeze some time but it always work as it supposed to a few seconds later

i have bought this deice in July 2008, it's a wonderful deice...FOR 3 YEARS OLD KIDS.
i will start with the battery that last for 6 hours and i will never stop.
- Bad access to contact
- Very bad speaker
- when i made call or answer a call the
phone lock down (believe me annoying)
- the system freeze out
- the time need to be update every hour
it keeps change
- it dose not support Arabic langue
- ............ect
my advice to all who want to buy one, come and get mine for half price. the only reason that hold me form selling it, is that i will lose 500$ in a month almost quarter of my salary :(

if u want to waste ur money buy this i bought it at 1000 $ and sold it back after 2 hours and 3 minutes of talking in 500$ what a phoni isn't it ? it is waste of money worth phone ever ever make it is now 6 year i change phones i never had someone as disapointment as this ....

I have this phone and it wounderfull BUT i have 1 problem....
when i start up the mobile i get a warning messeage that sais i have low memory on the mobile BUT i have over 3 gig free memory... i deleted som pictures and now it works fine so it seems like i have to sae my picture someweare ilse on the mobile.... but i dont know how to.... anybody who does?

After 5 weeks of owning this phone I could easily say that this is the worst phone that I have ever had.
1)Sound quality is horrible,
2)the phone freezes all the time,
3)it's a nightmare for fignerprints,
4)the battery does not last a full day,
5)after 2 weeks of gentel use the back cover color is fading,
6)the speaker phone is a joke,
7)just now realized that the phone doesn't reognizes the Internal Storage (4g) any more,
8)the alaram does not work when the phone is turned off or its on Vibrate,
9)SMS tone only works 1 or 2 times from every 10 SMS recieved,
I bought this phone 700$ five weeks ago and when I tried to sell it the other day; nobody offered more me than 350$, I think I'll be much happier if I just pour some gasoline on it and light it on fire and watch it Burn.
Thank you HTC for the worst experience of my life.

I recently bought the htc touch diamond. Although it is nice.. the battery life is really poor. On the package it says 3 hours of charging give you 8 hours of battery life.. i have done that and left it over night many times and im disappointed because it only lasts me one and half hours. needless to say i don't really use the diamond because it is for school. i have a different phone and the life is way longer than the htc. as well i don't use wifi or any of the programs. So I am wondering did i get ripped off with my battery.I was really expecting full battery life in the diamond. Any suggestions on how i can gain more battery life.

1. Can anyone tell me about the you tube feature on this device, will it cost me to use it? Someone said you have to have a certain type of GPRS to connect..... ummm would appreciate some help on this one!

In a nutshell, the battery completely puts this baby to rest. Shal I say RIP. If you cant get 1/2 day with calls of approx.40 mins, few smses, then its gone. Sold mine two days later, no fun in carrying another phone along to use when this battery runs out. Tried the Pro, and I find the battery life pretty good, but weighs a tone and it is ticker than 4 bars of Chocs.
