Anyway it appears you will need to bring it to the nearest HTC service shop and they will tell you whats wrong.

hello guys&girls,
try android,it's great on HD1 and you can use wifi as well with the latest builds from HD android development on xda and also try the live wallpapers(some of them work with our machine)try installing the cab,it is so easy...good luck with dual boot..see u

Hi Lucas & everybody. I tried and it worked.now I have skipped screen alignment and my home screen opens. But again some of the touch feature works on the screen and some not(even at the same screen location!). Also on the home screen touch scroll, if i press any icon phone keeps goin to the last icon of settings and doesnt scroll back to home. Also the four feather keys below screen doesnt work. Wat could be the problem? Some say touch guard causes problem or the cables inside phone gets loose..Changing Touch screen of HD is very xpensive & nt readily availabl too..So i want2 try evrythin b4..pls answer..

You need to dl it and put it on your phone,then the setup will skip the screen alignment part and everythin willb e ok

hi josh..i changed my rom to topix wm6.5 sense 2.5 but still after reboot it hangs on align screen and keeps asking to tap screen at 5 points everytime..now what???dnt knw how to get it go past align screen stage...pls help..

I can suggest you to use Topix WM6.5 roms with sense 2.1 or 2.5, pretty smooth running and enhance the phone a lot. also your problem may be solved. If its not, explain ur problem on XDA site, they'll gladly help you. Cheers.

i had a problem with my htc touch hd screen alignment. i tried to align scren but it keeps on asking to tap screen and never aligns. i tried soft reset but no use. now, my hd screen has frozen. i tried hard reset. but phone again comes to align screen mode and keeps asking to tap screen but never aligns. can any1 pls help me to get my phone started.

yeah windows mobile 6.1 is horrible , good luck

Can someone please help me out? I'm getting rather desperate because I can't find a phone that suits my needs. Here's a list of the desired features:
- Resistive touchscreen
- In-built (preferably magnetic) stylus
- Windows OS
- Decent camera (doesn't have to be fantastic because my current one is just a VGA camera so pretty much anything would beat that)
Surely that's not too much to ask for? Your professional opinions would be muchly appreciated :-).

IMO KWBR roms are the better in battery savings,if you prefer 6.1 then go for KWBR 3.1.2 and you will be amaze with consumption..just trying to help...tq
