Just a general question, in comparison to the iphone's capability to acces some banking websites.. does the hd have the capability of accessing financial institutions websites for say transfers of funds, i just think this'd be great for "insteading" of a laptop or computer access to the net. If my rambling has left some of u like... "GAH wtf is this guy on about?" my basic question is can u access banking websites with the HD?

Consult ur warranty before making public displays of disgust mate... or use ur 30 days swap over policy geez louise!!

Problems with Wi-Fi and Sync are hardware problems. Its not a WinMo problem. So get it fixed at the service centre. When I bough the Touch Dual, suddenly the 3G didn't work. After sending in for repairs, the camera got messed up with red blue lines running across pictures. That I didn't fix cause its another 3-4 days downtime which I can't afford. So HTC isn't very reliable with QC. Anyway, once again, if there's problem with the phones, no need to troubleshoot for hours. If the settings are correct, its almost always a hardware problem. Sent it in.

If u people are not decide what to buy between Nokia 5800 Express and HTC Touch HD,u are so wrong.Can not compare a Windows Mobile smartphone with sa Simbyan mobile phone.HTC Touch HD can be compared only with iPhone.Both are running good operating systems.Personally i've changed an iPhone 3G for a HD becouse HD has internal GPS and i need GPS.For those who has problems with the HD,i don't know about the sync problems,but with the wifi connection,the problem is the router.U have to upgrade ur router,because if it's too old is yhat incompatibility and the HD wil not connect to the router or will connect but u can't browse the internet.

I have been asked to send my HTC Touch HD phone for repair from the servie centre when I explained them about the wi-fi not working and Push-Mail not working. Everyone please atleast read the HTC blog ,, find what others whom have bought this phone are experiancing. If you buy this phone..its your funeral

I was a little sceptical at first because I've heard alot of bad things about Windows Mobile and I've never bought anything from HTC. But after trying out a friends Touch HD and trying it out even more at a store I was instantly convinced of how great it is.
If you're not sure whether to buy or not, just visit you local store and try it out yourself. Hands.-on experience is much more reliable than reading random comments on the Internet.
I'll be getting mine this week :)

Does the touch HD have USB Host ?
Would it recognize a USB Memory Key, mouse or keyboard ?

DONT BUY HTC TOUCH HD !!! I bought my htc touch hd and it is nothing but a huge disappointment. the mail does not sync properly. I have checked all the possible settings with my company i.t. department and my (mobile phone) service provider and my settings is right yet I cant get the mails syncronised as it should be. A firend of mine was having the same problem so he changed his phone to another brand. Now my wi-fi all of sudden doesnt seem to be working. this phone is nothing but a huge disaster. Bulky, not so user friendly phone. I believe I ( and many others who have bought the HTC TOUCH HD) have been fooled.

I am using Nokia 5800 for past 15 days but it hangs a lot after call and while changing songs it is easy to carry and camera is worst. No firmware yet. I decided to go for Touch HD its 65K colour but guys more pixels is better than more colour. Size is same as iphone. In there offical site it is 8 hours talk time.

Anthony, 09 Feb 2009its the same size as the iphone just better lol The iphone is smaller then the touch HD is 3.8inch iphone 3.5 and it runs on 65k which is really weak for HD standard but everything is better then the Icrap
