Again without a flash light for the camera!!!
htc seems to hate lighting after all!!!

Hey for those of u in the US... hopefully u have a previous HTC phone with the little mini USB A/C charger for a wall outlet because if not ur gonna have to go buy one since the HD was not officially released in the US they didn't design an adapter to fit the US electrical outlets, only European! I believe Motorola Razr chargers will work with this phone just fyi.

Battery life is quite good, and of course you can always have a spare battery (or two) and swap the battery if you ever need. All phones can change battery, except for one junk manufacturer that doesn't allow that (what a joke that company is).
The 8GB micro SD card that is included is cool, but easy to buy a 16GB card, and 32GB when it's available next year.
The phone is quite fast, much faster than my previous windows mobile phone. Responsive and very usable user interface.
The 2 year HTC warranty is very good.
It's difficult to find fault with this phone... maybe it's too thin... but that's about all.
Make sure you're on a good data plan through your carrier though. The built-in features such as stock prices, weather information, gps-enabled google maps... they don't go through the browser and will use some data so make sure you check that first.
Good phone and should last its 2 year warranty lifespan before upgrading.
Oh and the build quality is good... made in Taiwan, NOT in China like "Made by Nokia of Finland" and "designed in California" phones.

I just got one about 4 days now and just loving it. But I can’t seem to get the touch pad to lock by pressing & holding the end call. The screen just blinks but the phone does not lock the touch pad. does anyone know how to fix this?

Phone is great.
Does anyone have any info on doing a few small tweeks.
For example, to wake up the screen by pressing any button instead of the using the power button??
any help appreciated
