According to your theory, we should all go back to analog cell phone. Why bother to develop digital? Go back to school and learn more.

                Conclusion:

Click to see a large image.
We were excited when we started testing the phone, hoping that we’ll see something great and revolutionary. Sadly, the reality is different. Hardware wise, the Touch HD is impressive, with a large display and a quality make. As a phone, it offers many functions and a very good sound during a call, but the software is not innovative at all. TouchFLO 3D, which we’ve seen in Diamond and Pro is the best for a WM smartphone, but not for a multimedia device what we wanted to discover in the HD. The music player is good, we can live with the mediocre camera, but why the bad video capabilities and not the multiple codec/format support like seen in the rivals? This would have made it possible for the users to really enjoy HD clips. So far, the Touch HD is a good smartphone but doesn’t have what it takes to be a good multimedia phone. As we’ve said before, we hope this will be fixed by future software updates, making the HD the leader running on that OS. By the way, we would love to see the Android OS on that beautiful screen, but that’s not expected officially.

With the screen at 800x480, what about software QVGA? Does the OS stretches them automatically or change resolution? And the ones for VGA screen also? Because I don't see many programs for this resolution yet. What do you guys can tell us about this?

So, I just spoke with HTC. They are not going to release it in North America, as they said the iPhone was too strong a competitor. BS. Does anyone know if this is fully AT&T compatible? Will it do 3g?

Who needs 3G? What's the point of 3G other then faster internet connection? It is expensive and overpriced. Wi-fi is a lot better.

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2008www.mobiles.co.uk -> available on O2 from 17th Nov.I called O2 to confirm this and they had no knowledge of it. I tried calling them directly and got no answer. As far as I have been reading the Orange exclusivity was supposed to be till 2009, but I stand to be corrected.

I just wish it was O2!

Thank you for your response though :)

Would really like a review of this phone. I have a few questions:

                                    1) Does it have haptic feedback?
                                    2) Whats camera like?
                                    3) Any plans to get this phone on the Three UK network? Its the only network that has HSDPA coverage in my area.
