Kilyjah, 21 Oct 2009how do you install core player and other apps to the touch hd?If they are *.cab, then just drop them to the SD card and run them to install.. If they are *.exe then you install it from the PC while ActiveSync is connected.. No need to backup contacts or anything just cancel the Sync window that shows "next" (Don't worry it will stay connected) and choose the *.exe from your PC then follow the instructions..

i would say go with the HD or better yet the HD2 (which is now selling for £439 on www.clove.co.uk) because Android is sill very new and has alot to be added to it still. android has to be on the market for about 2 more years before it will be great. (but i must say it is on the right parth)way better android phones to come so no point buying a android phone now.

What i really love about the handset is the craftmanship. it is truly a masterpiece in terms of its style and functionality. I can have my email sync anytime anywhere, you can also wtach your favorite movies of all time with its wide screen and best audio. it is business with pleasure all at the same time. Fully-packed and endless surprises in using HTC Touch HD. But lately I have been encountering several lags, i am not sure what is causing the problem or perhaps I have saved corrupted files and data that is causing undeliberate lags of the phone. I have tried samsung omnia, xperia and among others but with HTC Touch HD, you surely have the sense of style, fun and functionality. It is like having the power of the sun in the palm of your hand.

Which would you guys go for?... moreWM is better than Android.. And better meaning more powerful.. You can run SPB mobile shell in WM which is only a desktop on your phone that destroys the Androids GUI!..
Search google for WM apps, they're everywhere...

j haved htc hd and j was big hardver problems whit conectivity with gsm. After service the device has another problem. After 30 min go to slep :).
Now j have htc hero.his very good.

Hi guys, i have some problem with my phone. I couldnt get my network sometimes. It juz when no network but when i insert my sim card to another phone it work just fine. Sometimes it work fine with HTC and sometimes it don't. I'm pretty sure this is not the network problem by the service provider. Could it be some setting conflict or error in the windows?

Android 1.5 is running great on the HD..

Its still under development.
Issues until now:
- Wifi not working yet
- GPS not working yet
- Bluetooth not working yet
- Power button not working yet. Screen will go to sleep automatically.
- G-sensor not working yet.
- Some SDcards like transcend still not working yet.

Just run in Windows, restart to go back to windows..
