topaz is better for worry free use but I like that more can be done from the first tab in the touchflo on leo. anyway, what was the noted change from topaz r12 to r13 ?

Nick, 17 Sep 2009You guys should understand one thing that manila 2.6 is des... more:) I'll give you 8 out of 10 for what you just said.. I took off 1 because the HD has been in stores only 10 months now(november 2008), not 2 years. but as far as windows mobile phone goes that's still old.
the rest is right but it is missing a lot so I took off 1 for that.
I would like to add to what you said so people don't get the wrong idea.
the leo interface and wm6.5 we are useing in these ROMs are not the final verson, they're rc just like the Windows 7 some of us are using on our pc.
so it is known that it is going to have bugs. rc versions are given out to programers and testers so they can report back the bugs and in some case give recommendations.
what dutty does... you are right it does keep you from buying a new phone every time. but when the htc leo phone comes out with the final wm6.5 and the interface, even if he gets it and puts it on the HD. it may not have the bugs but it still will not be as fast because of CPU(a you said). It will not have that lovely bigger screen, and It will not have the flash for the cam.
dexter said cooked roms are better because
1. htc took to long to put patches for known problems in the orignal rom on there site.
2. htc was not willing to give the topaz interface to the HD as an upgrade rom even thow the HD had better spec. than the topaz.
last but not least, I write the problems I'm haveing with the r3 or any cooked rom, not because it think it should not be that way but just to see if it is a common problem or if its 3rd party software combinations that is causing the broblem.
I'm happy to see you were not your usual hot air bag. try to keep it up.

I would sel... morejust had to do my 5th hard rest but I took out the memory card like you recommended for no cab auto install. will see how things go now...... but I'm beginning to thing It's one of the 3rd party apps that is causing the problem because its happening not just in opera.

So flashing cooked rom r3 in your hd won't be as smooth as in leo. You forgot one thing that there's 1ghz muscles under the hood of leo.
I also do not buy your myth that cooked rom is better than official rom. It depends on situation. If you are upgrading to new version with cooked rom...thats fine. Do you think Dutty is superior than HTC's software team?? Dutty is just helping you out guys so that you do not need keep buying new htc device all the time. But in case of Leo, its different. Its a monster and things designed for leo may not work smoothly in your 2 yrs old Htc Hd.

So far this Rom is amazing..

I do have cab files set to auto install. but I would rush through the installation as fast as I could, lol. I'm sending this from the phone now and every thing is good so far but if I get the problem later today, I'll try the hard reset your way.
"O" when I got the problem the last time I was not in opera.

I'm already having an argument with the guy who told everybody that Coreplayer breaks the 65k color limit, who made me tell you all that it does too.. He says DirectDraw does that, and i'm searching Google about it.. Help me, cause i feel guilty for saying something i'm not sure about Loooooll!!.. Please everybody search Google!! :P

When you format your HD, do you install 3rd party apps before checking the opera? If so try checking immediately after a format.
If you're using the [Autoinstall] Method, you're gonna have to wait 5 - 7 minutes for all programs to be installed before doing the screen aligning and time zone settings. Installation will be hidden in the background so you'll have to predict when it's done.. I say 5 minutes is enough.
Looool I also think that you already know all that i've told you!! :P
