In your opinion, which is a better phone: HTC pro 2 or HTC touch HD?

I did not talk about the things that are the same or about the same. nor did I talk about what the iphone does better.
    just the advantages because that is what you asked.
    there is only one HD. but you get more or less 3rd party software depending on where in the world you buy it. and some stores have it for 2 prices because for more money they will sell it with tomtom

        I love this phone. I'm just waiting for windows mobile 6.5 with nvidia tegra processor. I hope they will keep the same form factor like this hd.

            your information is perfect and amazing. But one point which you did not mention is that: the HTC Touch HD's screen is same as IPHONE firm and hard or not same as Blackberry storm so that when you push the screen is goes into down?
            How many models are avalaible for Tuch Hdbecause there are 2 different prices for them?

                1.The screen is .3” bigger on the diagonal and the res 480x800 which makes reading small text over a long period of time easier to do without hurting your eyes (like when you are reading a .pdf book or e-book or want to see more details in pictures)
                2.The data/power port is mini USB. This is an international electronics device standard so I can use the usb cord from my Bluetooth headset, digital camera, and other cell phones to charge my phone from the USB port on the PC and send data at the same time.
                3.5mp camera that takes better pictures. I can even touch the screen and pick what I want it to focus on.
                4.Front facing secondary cam for video calls. My network does not support that but it can also be used as a self portrait camera. (you look at your self with or without friends on the screen and take a pic. No need for a small mirror on the back of the phone like some phones.
                5.A user removable back cover. From here I can (A) switch batterys if I did not have time to charge. (B) Put in my dual sim cardholder which let's me have 2 sims in the phone at the same time. (C) Switch my memory card with one from a digital camera to copy pictures off when you don't have access to your pc. Or switch cards with a non smartphone to trade files with a friend.
                6.The interface can be used with gloves on, if you are out in the cold or your job needs you to where gloves.
                7.Fm radio. So you can hear local programming without going online. (news, music, talk shows and so on.)
                8.Bluetooth that can send files to a non smartphone that has no removable memory card. It can be used to get internet on the phone from a desktop pc, if there is no WiFi in the building and you don't want to use your data plan. It can be used as a easy way to sync the phone with the pc if you are using the phone and don't want to be tied down by a usb cord.
                9.The phone can be used as a modem for your laptop pc via the usb cord (point 2.) and no additional software has to be installed.
                10.And mine didn’t come locked from a phone provider, so I can use any international sim in it without breaking any warranty.

                Now, on to the software. I have change the rom on my phone so I'm no longer running the interface of the original HD. I will mark the advantages that I got from the rom change with a "*"
                11.It is running windows mobile so it is 100% compatable with a windows pc and Microsoft file formats.
                12.Contacts, appointments, task, reminders and outlook email can all be sync to and from the phone to outlook in the background outlook does not even have to be running.
                13.When the Phone is in sync mode it shows up in “my computer” and you can drag and drop any kind of files into internal memory or the memory card and with no file conversion you can see them in the file explorer on the phone. (this mode needs a program called active sync)
                14.The phone has drive mode. In this mode the memory card is seen in “my computer” as a flash drive. In this mode no 3rd party software is needed for it to work.
                15.Word, excel, .docx & .mp3 files can be edited on the phone with no conversion needed.
                16.To get music to show in the phone player you don’t even have to sync. Just copy the audio files into the phone anywhere and it shows up in the HD TouchFlo player. The play uses the file tags to sort the music so you don’t even have to sort it
                17.Call history can be filtered not just by incoming and outgoing but by number as well.
                18.The valume interface is split in to one for you ringtone and the other for system sounds.
                19.You have a choice of keyboard types. Full QWERTY, compact QWERTY, Phone Keypad, trance script and block.
                20.msn live is built into the phone so you can, msn text/voice chat, get h o t m a i l, m s n & l I v e e-mail on the phone without going to a web page.
                21.3rd party software can be installed on the phone once it is made for the OS the phone is running and the phone has the hardware it needs for the program. it does not have to be made for the HD.
                22.With a 3rd party player like core player all PC/MAC audio and video formats can be played on the phone
                23.The interface can be change to look like the interface of other phones with the use of 3rd party programs or cooked roms. You can even change the OS with the use of cooked roms. (with the use of a cooked rom a have changed my phone from the HD touchflo on windows mobile 6.1 to the Diamond2 touchflo on windows mobile 6.5)
                24.* calendar appointments show weather info for up to five days
                25.*the sceen can auto rotate in any view, and you can get landscape keyboard in any program.
                26.*When you are in a contact info, you can see all the calls with time, date and duration for that contact. You can see all text and e-mails to that contact as well. You can even see there facebook info.
                27.*it has push internet\
                28.*Internet explorer can play flash video in it. No 3rd party software needed.
                29. there is 3rd party software to track the phone useing sms and the built in GPS

As for the rest of the phone, I use a black HD silicone skin that I bought on Amazon.com, so I can't really tell you how scratch resistant the surface is. I did drop the phone a few times but because of the silicone skin it got no scratches. I can count on one hand how many times the phone has handed from the time I got it in November 2008
