Thanks bro...

I will hopefully buy the touch Pro this Tuesday or Thursday.... Really hope for the best and the phone performs better than the Tytn2 or here in Malaysia some of the retailers called it the "Tak tentu" (the inconsistent)... but I have minimal problems with the phone..

Looked at the Touch Pro2 but the set didn't have the front navigational key which I always use on the TytnII.. Touch Pro it is for me..

Thanks viz..the forum was a big help but to a certain extent it scares the hell out of me of buying the phone as the are a lot of complaints from users...

Thus my question now... If I buy the phone...can I use it 'out of the box' only without flashing or cooking...Just use it without any changes...will there be any major problems of using the Touch Pro ' out of the box"? Thanksss...

Thanks Nishant and Viz for the answers...It certainly clears my head of any bad issues regarding the Touch Pro. But my next questions may be elementary as I am relatively new as a Pocket Pc user.

Can anyone explain to me about ROM and as Viz said...stock ROM. What is ROM or stock ROM. All I know is that the ROM may make the phone stable and process faster... Second question is how to get the ROM and how to install it in the phone as I may buy the phone in four days time..t.q

If you are the one who will choose between the touch pro or touch 3G,what will you choose and why?
Second,what matters to me is theperformance of the winmo.Uptil now the touch pro scores higher than the 3G,yet if you read the opinions you will find that most are grumbling about the slowness/unstability of the touch pro despite the fact that the processor is the same in the 2 sets.In 3G I don't find this problem.It may be a matter of rom.At last i want to know if I am lucky to get the 3G or Unlucky for not getting the Touch Pro?
One last thing dear bro,if you know direct links for cooked roms or themes for the Touch 3G,plz paste them to me....and for all is my love and rspect..plz need more ppl to their opinions,

u need to go to the communication manger in the programs section turn the bluetooth on. and the device u want to pair it with .
both the devices settings should be " visible to all " then after pairing the two devices. in your source device just select the item u wan to send and say "send via bluetooth" and DONE !
but yes , data cable transfer is much more simple and VERY FAST i wuld reccomend that .
feel free to ask anything more.

all u have to do is download the app/game u want to ur PC and then through the cable put it on ur fuze . in the file explorer(fuze) run the .CAB file (after unziping if required) and enjoy it ! make great use of this fabulous phone and ask me if u need a list of good must have applications.
keep exploring this beautiful device !

the phone has a hefty RAM and is way ahead than any of the other windows mobile devices in the market.
and as far as hanging goes of course it will hang if the user "stuffs" it with third party freeware to make their device look "cool". i would suggest that it is THE PERFECT upgrade from a tyTn II. it has a swift processor and a great capability of multi tasking.
and if still not satisfied ( i doubt) then u could go for the third party ROMs availibl on Xda etc etc(i don't reccomend! ) and me sure u will be happy.
so dont worry and go ahead !

The awnser to your question is.
All the phones has the same winmob on, its just the specifications that is differant, and the "theme" you can say, you could go to xda developsers site and download diffrent types of windows for it, even linux and google rom..

Thanks in advance to anyone of true knowledge who will help me in this:this question is directed only to winmo users over 3 years.I have been using winmo since 2003.I wanted to buy HTC touch pro cause it is bigger than Touch 3G,it has keyboard,flash for the camera.But because of the high price of Htc touch pro I bought Htc touch 3g.It is very fast indeed which matters me most.So,my question is :If you are an experienced fan of winmo and you have to choose between the touch pro and Touch 3G.What will be your Choice....Thanks in advance..Love to all

Hi i have use this phone for 7months. it,s a verry great phone.

Battery : i used to have problems with battery. a half day battery life! may you all ever had this problem too.
here is the solution. drain your battery, till it turned off it self. but not only that, press the power button until it cannot power up again (there will be a red warning says the battery is to low). take out the sim card (if any) then charge for 8-12 hours. -- worked well for me, 1.5 - 2 days battery life now --

Speed : if you feels your Touch Pro too slow, check your rom, there is new rom from HTC.Com. and it,s fast n furios i tell u.

For some people who can handle it's feature, PLEASE get symbian, java or somthin lighter. then you don't have to get any headache experience or you don't have to bad mouth about this phone too much.

Well nothin is perfect anyway

i've had this phone for a month and love it. all the comments which say its bad and slow are ffolish u can't demand so much. only drawback is the price ! and that the g-sensor is only used in album and browser. but with the gyrator application it can be solved . its a must buy for the person who can afford. any questions welcome.

I've had this handset for about 5 months now and I'm loving it.

IT can be a little slow but it still does the job.
It took me quite a while to figure out how to transfer files via bluetooth so, obviously, as this is a PDA after all, don't get it if you're just looking for an ordinary phone because you will whinge and whine like most of the people who have written on this page.

Battery life could be better, but as it is a more advanced handset it's definately very reasonable lasting about a day and a half.

Overall, it's a great phone. (Y)(Y)
