the other devices like htc x7500 (which i have ) it works like press the reset botton and at same time turn my volume key up then it will do factory hard reset . and thanks for your tip and its realy good to know about second option for hard factori-reset . because somethime your system getting messy at startup and you can not do gard-reset by start menu thats why we have to do with second option hard-reset. any way thanks alot.

Hi there.
Got my HTC Touch Pro2 yesterday. So far as I can tell, it is a lovely phone.
One question:
How do I set the alarm clock to keep on sounding untill I dismiss or snooze it? Currently in plays the alarm sound once and that's it.

To hard reset your device without going to the start menu:
1. With the device turned off, press and hold the TALK/SEND, END and POWER buttons until you see this message on the screen.
"This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press VolUp to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel."
2. Release the TALK/SEND, END and POWER buttons.
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Hi guys i want do factory hard-reset but without i go to start menu and do it over there . is there any other way to i do it ? because i hers htc make 2 different hard factory reset option . and one is with start menu and the other ones like if i hold speaker volume down and press reset button at same time it will do factory hard-reset. and i want know how about for this phone how can do with second option without i go to start menu and do it over there. let me know guys.

Thanks for your advice guys, its still quite hard to decide as nokia has admitted to their mistakes and improved on the phones software versions to fix these errors.
I am still a bit confused as so many users tell me I should consider getting one and so many say I shouldn't
On contract this phone is still alot cheaper than the htc touch pro 2.
I think i will leave it to my wife to decide, think she'll go for the tp2 or blackberry bold.

Thanks for your advice guys, its still quite hard to decide as nokia has admitted to their mistakes and improved on the phones software versions to fix these errors.
I am still a bit confused as so many users tell me I should consider getting one and so many say I shouldn't
