Just try it and let me know.
Please let me know what are the issues that you faced in the e-mails when you went to US? Are these issues resolved or not. It is very important if I want to go to US, e-mail should work there. I know that the phone will not work on the 3G but it should work on the edge ot 2G.

I have not found a way to manually lock the keypad quickly (you have to go into the menus to do it). I am not into a routine where after a call I put the phone down for 1 minute so that the keypad locks, before I put it away yet it happened again yesterday and I am fed up. Bluetooth is not enabled. Also have some email issues while I am currently traveling in the US. This never happened with Blackberry. I have used Blackberry for years with no complaints however this was an attempt to try something different and compare. I see this phone as nothing more than an expensive toy and not marketed to serious business users.

The screen will activated when there is an incoming call, always press answer or ignore when take out from pocket :s any1 face this problem? as i know tp2 is like iphone where we need to slide to answer or ignore right ?

This is great phone! Worth the 3 months wait in South Africa. Vodacom has release in SA. I have the following problem - the Google map does not want to find "Get Directions" not even very simple one. Is there a problem

the unlocked version will not allow you get 3G coverage. i have the t-mobile version and 3G is working great in LA for me. you need to check if 3G coverage is available in your area .

i have the unlocked tp2 w/t-mobile, i can't seem to get it on 3g only edge. edge is ok.
put the wi-fi on...whoa...you're blowing the doors off edge. haha.

Try also to do a hard reset and try again. It was happening only with my touch pro1 if I am not using the lock. If you have a bluetooth you may have pressed the call button twice in your pocket and this activates the call.
Your problem is easy to be solved.

Install net framework 3.5 on your PC with active sync 4.5 running and your phone connected to PC via USD.
Once installed on your PC, activesync will prompt you TP2 if you want to install on your device as well. Just follow on screen instruction on PC and TP2.

fuzing windows with the touch 3d was the best thing since electricity.
so many keyboard shortcuts, multiple windows and programs, excellent memory features, very capable. my wife has the nokia N97, great phone, but for me its too "childish," the TP2 has the professional edge and sleek interface.

My hesitation has been at shelling out GBP450 with the only recourse being HTC's customer service (which as previously mentioned says they don't replace faulty units but rather try to fix them). Otherwise I am looking forward to owning it.
