@Annonymous: Yes it does play DIVX files but do convert it using a DIVX converter to play in Mobile-DIVX format else the response will not be as smooth..
@Adyash: Yes You can customize your home screen by having ur own Wallpapers

Regarding the use of Stylus depends absolutely upon an individual.
I just bought this phone and this is my first touch screen but I can type messages without Stylus... though my friend requires a stylus to type a message with the same handset.
But I find the onscreen qwetr keyboard big enough for finger typing.
You can refer some snaps of the handset before buying... that may help u!

hey guys please tell me how to change the themes on this phone becase i tried changing them but the background remains the same(home screen) only the start bar colour changes i tried this with all the themes i got i even tried to restart the phone

can anybody confirm that there are no settings/options to use the viva phone's screen in landscape/horizontal position.
Secondly, would you say that it is better to get a viva rather than the touch 3452 which too is now coming with Win 6.1 and is a sturdier and more modern design to my eyes. I am stuck between choosing viva or 3452 and on another note, viva is cheaper too, though when you consider the bundled accessories with 3452, the equipment cost of 3452 seems lower.

guys need help SOS ! Does the Viva or Touch 3G require the stylus to type sms or is the keypad big enough to type with your fingers as in the apple, Omnia and the Nokia 5800 i love these HTC's but the only headache every time u need to type something u need to use the blooming stylus or the hand recognition which is a bit of pain ! Please let me know if its the same story in VIVA & 3G too.

Hey people I am facing this one more issue.
When I connect my handset with my PC the Microsoft Active Sync is activated but after about a minute it again gets disconnectedon its own.
I ried connecting my phone as a Hard drive and that works good.
If Anybody knows about this issue than please help..

Got my Viva last week. It's a good phone. I had some problems with reception on my original htc touch. The thing I don't like about this one is the recessed screen. I don't know why they did that to this phone. It makes it difficult to use you fingers on the touch screen at the edges.
