I think luis makes sense...it is important that a phone should be analysed before its bought...
The TyTN II is definately a better HTC touch...
                  1. 400Mhz Vs 200Mhz
                  2. 3.15MP Vs 2MP (non autofocus)
                  3. HSDPA Vs 2G
                  4. 128MB RAM Vs 64MB RAM
                  5. GPS Vs GPRS (lol)
Also rightly pointed out tht the resolutions in screens ranging from 2" to 3.5" are given the QVGA resolution which doesnt make sense...if the screen size increases so should the resolution!
Well enough said,if ne of u guys need any help feel free to get in touch....Ali

BigSam, you were wrong about the launch in Dubai at about the first or second week of August. It's still not here. Let's hope you're wrong about the price. 900 USD is a bit too steep for the kid...

The only competitor this phone has is the (hopefully) upcoming Eten glofiish M900. It will have the better resolution screen and FM radio that everyone seems to be whining about. (Most of these whiners couldn't afford these phones anyway...) I am looking forward to getting one or the other, probably the first that is readily available. (hint, hint, AT&T). Apparently, they are getting the phone and calling it the AT&T 8925, upgrade to the Cingular 8525. Hopefullly, they won't butcher it the way they did the original TyTN.

I want to know if this version of WinMobil6 can handle 100% (view/create/ edit) the Office dcuments.?

In addition, how can I obtain one phone to test it under the commincations and telephony supply conditions of Central America. I live in Csota Rica and NO ONE / NOBODY is representing H.T.C. What a shame.!

The way I understand it the phone does indeed have A2DP.

                                    Hello people,

I will like to debate if possible about the GPS receiver on board the HTC TyTN II. So far I heard that the chipset SiRF III is the best because you don't need to have a data account on your mobile to have the realtime navigation when with the TyTN II, it will be a bit like the N95, you will need a constant internet connection for your mobile in order to use the GPS which is a bit rubbish i think... Well nobody is perfect and i still like the phone but what do you think guys? Cos I know loads of people talking rubbish out there and here could be the place to find a right answer?

                                    Cheers
