many questions...plz someone answer me
1-how can i longer the battery life in gsm arena written 400 hours i doubt it...
2-gprs connections taken auto.for weather report
3- how i can hide sim & emails from contacts really bugs me.

I've had this phone for 6 months. The following are issues that I've experienced with it:
- Callers cannot always hear me due to my voice dropping in & out during calls
- Battery cover keeps on coming off
- Unit has started freezing often lately
- Touch screen incredibly unresponsive at times
- Battery life unbelievably short especially when one logs onto internet
- When using speaker phone callers cannot hear me clearly
- Phone automatically starts up programs i.e. Skype/Fring whilst I'm busy using another operation.
- Speed of opening applications is slower then my I-mate Jam
- Camera operation is impractical & quality of photos & videos is poor
Unfortunately these issues are frustrating me to the point of considering an alternative phone eventhough I essentially value this phone.

doesn any of u ppl that have the htc tyttn II when u charge it it kind feels warm from the back the battery side?!!!

I am deciding wherther to wait for the HTC Touc Pro or purchase the HTC (Kaiser fro Orange or Vodafone v1615 from Vofanone) here in Spain. One drawback for a purchase in Spain is that I speak English and little facility with Spanish). Any advise anyone?

Who has an idea of where to download a full "google map program" to be able to use with no phone signal, internet, or wifi? I have searched up and down the net with no luck yet.

If you don't speak Russian. take these steps.
Start> systems tab (the one in the middle on the bottom of screen). > regional settings (it has an icon of the "world globe"), then change to english.
If you have tried all of the above already
with no luck. You will need to download windows Mobile 6 to to install to your devise, as it has English language as it's default set language.

I have a Russian language phone, and have found no help or advice on getting it converted to English. No help from HTC either. If you try to download an English version ROM, the HTC system recognizes your phone as being non-English, and will not download the English version.

shagzilla, 07 May 2008i got the tilt and like it, i have done a few modifications... moreAlso got the Tilt in late May of 08. Very happy with it so far. Downloaded Coreplayer and not at all impressed with the application. Videos much smoother on Windows Media Player.

Aslo go to start> settings> connections tab on the bottom of screen> Connections Icon on screen> advanced tab on bottom of screen> select network on screen and make sure "MY ISP" (My Internet Service Provider) is selected for both fields. Then hit ok to save.
If that does'nt work, you should definately do a hard reset. First save all of your contacts, programs, and important items to your memory card, then go to Start> settings> System tab on bottom of screen> Clear storage (this function will give you default settings as the phone was when you bought it, i.e., erases all bugs or any viruses that might have attacked your device.
Please let me know how it turned out for any of the given steps.

I am struggling to open pages when connected to WIFI. ItS all connected but when I open internet explorer and try to open a page, it tries to locate the page and then says it cannot be found and to please check the name is correct. The name is correct and the handset is fully connected to my wireless router and everything is fine with the router. It has worked previously but now has stopped and I'm not sure if I have turned something off or on etc.......
Please help!!!!!
