To access Blackberry Services in Windows Mobile smartphone, you can download Blackberry Connect from here: http://www.asia.htc.com/resource/sea/bbc_web/index.html
You will need HTC Asia Membership in that webpage, but who knows, maybe you can download it somewhere else.. Just do some Googling!!

To answer your question. The whole business about video drivers for the TyTN II has been blown wayyyyyy out of proportion. Unfortunately there are too many whiners out there. I have had my TyTN II for almost two months now and I watch full feature movies better than on my iMate KJam. The TyTN II runs faster. The camcorder part of the camera is not great, but that's not what I bought it for. The camera is good enough and wayyyyyy better than my kjam. It is 3mp with autofocus!!!
I highly recommend this device. video drivers, shmideo drivers!!!
I have one and it's great!!! Best device on the market at the moment. My TomTom GPS works like a charm as does everything else.

Hi. I was all set to purchase this product when I read on this forum (about 5 pages back) the problems with the video drivers causing this device to run slower than very old devices. I also looked at the website http://htcclassaction.org/ and watched the you tube videos showing the difference. A few people have posted that anything can be rigged up on youtube and don’t believe it. However there has been nothing more on this in this forum and I have since read nothing but glowing reviews from people that have brought this so I’m now really confused as to if I’m going to buy this or not.
Can someone give me an objective opinion on this issue as if correct it is potentially a show stopper. Or is htcclassaction.org just a HTC bashing website that will say anything to make you believe HTC are no good? I don’t know?? Is this an issue with only certain units? As I find it hard to believe only a few thousand people would complain out of probably hundreds of thousands sold. If the problem does it exists is it still bearable. I mean if it wasn’t surely this forum would be filled with comments about the issue not just 3 or 4 right??
The other thing is there is so much information to sift though with people offering patches and roms and all sorts of stuff. If this video driver is actually a problem can it actually be fixed and how?, according to htcclassaction.org HTC refuse to fix it, but then again it goes back to my whole question who do you believe?
Anyone who knows anything about this and is prepared to post a non biased opinion would be appreciated. Also if you have this device and haven’t experienced the problem let everyone here know.
Thanks and look forward to your comments because I do believe it looks like a fantastic phone which I will buy if I’m satisfied about this issue.

@ Ranjan you can find the Blackberry connect client if you go to the htc.com website, change the region to the USA, choose support and then select the AT&T Tilt.
You should be able to download the client but I don't know if it will work with a non-AT&T ROM.

Use the TyTNII for 2 months now. Had A Qtec 100s before. Works perfect. TomTom works subberb in combination with the internal GPS. Somebody among your friends will have TomTom, Just borrow it, install it and drive. I bought a 2GB external memory. As 4GB slows it down.

N70 is way to old to compare with tytn ii when it comes to features. Also N70 is not a pocket PC.
Well a QVGA screen is a QVGA screen. you can't expect HD quality in it. However it is quite OK.
BTW: tytn ii is not that sleek as it comes with a bulky keyboard.
If you are more concerned about playing videos and not really the other features of a pocketPC then it is pointless buying the TyTN ii. For this you can go for a smartphone with VGA display and probably runs on Symbian.

N70 hangs, sometimes craps & had a satisfactory camera resolution. And it's not a pocket PC, that's it. In features, reliability and sleekness choose the TyTN II.

i plan to get a tytn II but im worried bout screen quality coz i currently hav a nokia n70 which is a really crappy phone but it has 256k colour tft screen compared to the htc's 65k tft. Is it not a problem that the screen is crappy? Or does it realy not look as bad as the n70's. If picture quality and colour quality is better than the n70 then il take this phone asap.

ARGUABLY & VIRTUALLY THE GREATEST PDA PHONE in the market today (because of its awesome features), perhaps it beats all when it comes to size. What it needs are admirers, influence and glamour. If you put a camera flash, slim and European factory-made, it will be likely omnipotent to its kind.

Adul, I'm living in Doha and look to buy the TyTN II but the fact it come without Software for the GPS slow me down. Did you get any answer about your question on the possibility to download any free software like Tomtom?
