Yes the video is ok if you encode properly,however we shouldn't need to.Cetain .Wmv files stutter and it's a shame because otherwise this really is a top device.Sign the petition and who knows a top device might just get better http://www.petitiononline.com/tytn2vid/
Streaming is fine..maybe it's a network problem.This url is pretty cool for streaming TV/Radio http://www.streamingpda.nl/ also their's applications like pocket streamer deluxe

This phone is great. i had this fone for 1 month and its perfect for everything...the only downside are the picture and video quality and the video is not streaming...When i say video, i meant video record but as for playing movies..ITs perfect...not slowdown with great sound quality. This phone has everything you want in a pda/smartphone...its the smartest of all smart phone as of NOW!

Download to your computer,locate the file and copy it into your Tytn II then run it from it's location.It will work.

On the download page you have 2 options:
1)the big download button which will get u the .exe ver which u shoud launch from the pc and the next time u sync will be inst on your device
2)the .cab version which u need to copy on ur device an run it from there
I used opt 2) and it works fine

Does anyone know why my calender cannot work when i try to access it...it did before but now it cannot...any way to fix that? btw i have the att tilt thx

Ive had this phone for hmm good 3 weeks...great phone but i noticed with my version att&t tilt..that when i close it from qwerty to a single phone(with qwerty board hiding) that it takes a while (2-3 sec) and when i finally stabilized to a vertical display, after 2 seconds, it will like twinkle a little seeing that the lines blink...is it regular or is mine getting worse...i never dropped my phone so i dont know why it does that or is it normal...pls respond...besides that, its a great phone...love it...

Oh how HTC have misunderstood their market.They are getting criticism all over the place because of 3D driver support,maybe HTC thought \'we\' would be like nokia users who gladly put up with the n95 and it\'s numerous faults.Nokia took one year to get that device right.HTC will loose out bigtime if they don\'t address this issue and QUICK!

Hello everybody
I got the phone since a week now!! great phone i really enjoy it.
I've manage to get my wifi connection set up today. I downloaded skype for windows mobile (save into my document folder)but when i click on it to set it up i get a message saying (skypeforpocketpc) not valide for pocket pc???
what should i download??
Do i need to transfer the file to a spacial folder other than my document.
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I am saying is that HTC is NOT going to implement the 3D drivers because of the petition.. However, I am NOT suggesting that the TyTN II will never see Direct 3D driver support either - it will just be up to individual developers to transfer the necessary drivers from a handset that already has such drivers implemented (for example, perhaps, the i-mate Ultimate 8502/9502 once released, may have direct 3D support for the qualcomm cpu).
I am not proposing a solution to this 3D driver problem, I'm just presenting you with a realistic perspective. That's all.

TeleNav works well, but I use a stand alone nav app now and it works the same, but without monthly fee.
