o...ok thx...k im completely satisfied with my phone...heh...Perfect for the perfect price...I got this phone for a 100 dollars...originally 300 with new 2 year contract...plus it was 50% off and i had a 50 dollar waive for being a good costumer...heh...So 100 dollars for a smart fone...no dealer can beat that.

Contact HTC about the driver problem. The capturing, rendering and playback of media is unacceptable, especially when we know a fix could easily be found.I for one told them I would never buy a HTC unit again unless they addressed this issue.HTC Technical Support

Regarding 3d acceleration..Qualcomm need to create some sort of reference driver before HTC port it to their devices so for now we have an excellent CPU that isn\'t getting used!akin to having a BMW M3 with no wheels. Please please please e-mail HTC and show we are not happy. This device is awesome but with gfx support it would be a match for any of the so called multimedia computers.I\'m sure we would all love the multimedia capabilities of the n95 on top of what we already have.EMAIL HTC.

Any news on the 3D accelerator being enabled? It seems that all the OTHER functions of the Qualcomm CPU are performing up to spec...

@DsrtFox it's not software that fixes the screen turning off during a call problem. You just need to do a simple registry edit.If you don't want to download resco explorer then use Total Commander(freeware)to edit registry.

Almost perfect fone for now ive had this fone for 2 weeks and i will update. Only 2 things i dislike about this phone is 1. During a call, phone goes on stand by and you cant even see anything...Softwares are available but i dont trust them...2. Batter life is more like 3 hours of talk time. so what i do is when i dont use it. i turn it on standby by pressing power button but can still recieve calls and messages.. btw..mine is the ATT tilt. Barely any lag on the phone and is slightly on the heavy side but who complain of a phone being heavy when its practically a phone incorporated into a laptop!!! All i do now i send all my notes (im a student nurse) to my tilt and just study there...btw...go get 6gb micro sd now b/c its only 70 dollars at newegg. thats a deal as oppose to 100+++

Ok I have had TyTN II for two months.Excellent device, battery cycle isn't great but is acceptable.Remember this device has a QVGA screen so encode your video to match your device or at the very least use TCPMP and adjust framerate etc(excellent guide on xda-developers.com).My device never hangs and I mean never, maybe because I have installed Memaid. The TyTN II is a genuine threat to Nokia super phones,i-phone etc so that brings the worst out in a whole bunch of people!Buy and enjoy

only remark... the HTC launcher hangs from time to time, mostly when downloading mails when interupted by let us say bad internet connection. but no reason to be sad, this is a great device

Hi all,
I am facing a problem with my tytn ii, actyally it is with the camera (video camera), well the framing time per second is very slow, I mean when you display any video that you captured, it is very slow moving and when you move your hand the while you are recording the resolution will be not clear, do you have any suggestions or any application or update, or settings even, that will ameliorate the video recording?
In fact the device is perfect, and I had never have any problem with, till now.
thanks and regards,

I have the ATT Tilt. The phone doesn't come with the HTC Home software ... luckily it's easily found on the web. The software from ATT isn't so bad but the HTC software is AMAZING better utilizing the full benefit of the touch screen. I ordered 2 phones in October; one for me and the other for my wife. She wants to return hers because it's too much and the battery SUCKS. She had a 3125 and that little clamshell is excellent on battery, features and volume. The Tilt has SO MUCH potentially going on that the battery is drained after 3 hours of talk and a little web surfing. I ordered the 2700 mAh extended battery and 6 gb memory card from Amazon. The 6 GB card is excellent for the price and storage capacity.
I am disappointed with the video playback. Video clips are choppy during full screen and normal mode but the audio is flawless. Audio is amazing even when running other applications like Opera and IE browsers. I compared video clips running at the same time on my Zune and the Tilt’s. The playback is not fluid at all on the Tilt running files recorded using Windows Movie Maker … but audio doesn’t skip a beat. It seems like the phone can’t keep up with the frames per second of the video. However, the video files start at the push of the play button unlike the Zune and look crisper/sharper. I’m talking about wmv files greater than 10 mb at 320x240, video data rate above 300 kbps and audio above 350.
This would be a perfect phone if the original battery lasted longer and the Windows Media Player had better playback. I also had to statically assign an IP address for the phone to work on my wireless router. It would not pick up an address even though the phone was added to my access list. Purchased a new router to upgrade from 802.11b and didn’t need the static IP address anymore.
In all great phone with a few setbacks. It’s an iPhone killer for sure but advertisement keeps the iPhone at the forefront.

I recently reset my phone when i had a problem with my network searching ( as per HTC customer service advised ) cos i thought it was my phone problem, but after a while i found out it was my service provider problem.
Now,the problem is, i have lost my MAPKING and i have installed it with the CD provided.
When i try to use this application,it appears as HONGKONG DEMO and ive got the code after entering MKID no in the web but it is still doesnt valid.
Could some one help? Can i install a Malaysia map into it?
Does google map works in Tytn II as well?
