I also used an E90.I felt browsing became a tedious affair due to lack of touchscreen.Web browsing with touchscreen is infinately superior. The e90 keyboard was also frustration personified! Then the 3rd party software was of a low quality..I'm glad I choose the KAISER.

I love this phone but have been forced to switch to the even more lovely Nokia E90 due to this device's appalling battery life (having to recharge it by about 3pm after taking it off charge at 6am is not acceptable). Also, the loudspeaker is very poor and makes my conference calls quite difficult. E90 we borwsing is also far superior, as is its screen size. It's a pity as this is an excellent device apart from that...

Had the phone for about a month now and love it. I installed a few software programs to help ease my life a little. over all I think this is my favorite phone to date. which is saying a lot for me as I tend to buy a new phone every 4-6 months. I think if your sitting on the fence about this phone to go ahead and get it. I was until I got it and now I very satisfied. I used the tytn II unlocked phone on the AT&T(US) service. The only problems I have is you cant use the video call option over here in the states (VA). Oh by the way does anyone know if there is a software program that allows you to used the video call camera as a web cam? I think that would be a great idea if not. we could yahoo chat with a web cam on a cell phone.

Just crossed over from the n95.For me the n95 only excelled on the video/camera front.True tytn II screen and audio is slighty inferior but it beats the n95 on so many fronts.Menu's are well thought out and fast. The Today screen with the htc launcher and a few custom plugins is unbeatable.GPS on this unit is great, can easily be used as your main in car sat-nav and remember all dedicated sat-navs have touchscreen.

I got the Tytn II recently, I am quiet satisfied the set features, but one thing is the processor speed 400mhz abit bottle net for this powerfull pda. The quality of camera is good, autofocus seems first time appearing in pda. However the picture quality is good. Gps no concern about.

this is the first time a PDA is born that can be used to replace a laptap during a short business trip ( maximum 2 to 3 days ).
PDA is not longer a toy but a tool now. Great job HTC

Ive had this phone for a week. Well my version is AT&T TILT which is basically the same thing...i looked at all the specs for TYTN II and mine...There is no difference. I reccommend this phone to anyone who wants to combine a phone and a pda together!Ive gone through everything in this phone and i love the set up. Ive had a 8125, P1, N95, and IPHONE(Which i brought back because it wasnt for me) and so, im going to keep this phone because if you want a PC/PHONE/PDA, THIS IS YOUR ANSWER! i would give it a 9/10 too because the camera should of been better and takes awhile but i love how you input contacts and all the small things in this phone...Best phone from HTC! MAtter of fact...from any company!

Generic is always best.Lookout for hardware differences though.Software can easily be fixed by popping over to xda-developers.com downloading a ROM and flashing it on to yur device.Btw HTC are known for excellent build quality and the slide out keyboard is PERFECT.

Simon c you certainly are going against the grain.I think you have read the wrong reviews and are basing your views on the old model lol Phone reception is A+ as is the build quality. The qwerty keyboard has a unique mechanism and it preforms without fault.

I'm really sorry to go against the grain here - I read the reviews before I got mine from Vodafone (V1615) but I am, for the first time ever, taking advantage of the 14 day give it back arrangement. My previous PDA is a Qtek 9100, so the format is familiar. I was really expecting this to be a significant step on and certainly in a lot of ways, it is. However, although the PDA is my mobile office it is, after all, first and foremost, a mobile telephone! In that regard it fails, for me. Simply put, the signal reception / transmission is really poor compared with its predecessor. Whereas I can get 4 bars signal on the Qtek, the 1615 will achieve 1, maybe 2 from the same location. I have had to put up with dropped calls, lots more messages, not being able to call out, etc. Small niggles are also that the sliding keyboard doesn't need much for it to slide (by accident) compared with the previous model, the power button is much harder to press than previously and finally, the battery life is a lot shorter.
So all in all, I'm disappointed. The phone is going back and I will search out another Windows mobile PDA for the next year.
