You've forgotten Usound that test your internal hear and adapt the equalization (only with headphone). It would reduce noise too...

      dex,

Not sure. Maybe? I'm still gonna MAINLY use the back camera if I get the U 11. I only take selfies once in a great while.

The newest leak indicates that the body may not be metal but perhaps either glass or else I'm HOPING a glass/metal hybrid. It says: "Fluid and reflective; designed to be quiet no more." The "quiet no more" part indicates they may be trying something new since the U Ultra DOES have a glass back, so hopefully if it's not metal it's metal/glass. I just hope if it is that it's shatterproof.

      Thoughts people?!

Puzzling as to why the selfie camera (f/1.7) aperture would be larger than that of the main camera (f/2.0). i guess HTc is hoping users will take more pics with the selfie, no ?

Yeah the M8 was awesome! I rooted it (only time I ever did that) so that I could install the Harman/Kardon mod on it, which noticeably improved the sound quality! I really loved that phone too. All their phones are nice looking and very premium in design as well!

Maybe one of these days I'll buy a new m8 just to add it to my collection of phones and I do still have my trusty m7 even now,I will never sell it.

                Mr Grey,

That's awesome that you've consistently been buying the HTC One phones. That says something about quality, though I really didn't love their cameras until the 10 came out. (I owned the M8 and my sister owned the M9. I loved my M8!)

I agree. I really hope it's got a metal and not glass back on it (U 11). I also am hoping they put in a bigger battery than the 10's 3000 mAh one. Yes I agree........they do! Just hoping they don't cheap out on the audio like they did on the U Ultra. That's a deal breaker for me if they do. The 10's audio WIPED THE FLOOR (for both sound quality and volume) over other phones' aside from the LG V20. The 10 is still better than V20 IMO b/c I dislike phablets. lol

I have owned the HTC m7,m8,m9 and I currently have a Htc 10 but I admit my G5 has far better battery life than the 10 but I do hope they have included a much larger battery in the HTC u 11 and I hope it will be made of metal and it won't be like the cheap feeling Htc u ultra.

The specs so far for this phone sound promising indeed.

New official U 11 leak of back of U 11 box with specs!

Thoughts??! Hopefully what Phone Arena says about battery being 4000 mAh is true.

Wow you owned all of the last 4 eh? Nice! I had the M8 and loved it too.

The U Ultra was a glass-back phone, but I don't think they're going to do that for the U 11. We'll find out soon enough though (May 16th). I'm REALLY happy with my 10, so if the U 11 doesn't do it enough for me, I'd be perfectly fine with keeping it 'til next year, esp since I only just got it in January. I had the Glacier Silver 10 last summer for about a week, but went with the Xperia X Performance instead. I realized later I was better off and switched back to HTC as Sony has gone downhill in both the battery life and audio departments. Camera is the only thing it does better really, but with the 3 major camera updates the 10 has gotten already, I feel it's very close now. The XZ Premium though does look really cool though.

Yeah, I hope the U 11 has the same killer DAC as the 10, and also "USB over analog" built into its MicroUSB-C port, or else having the killer DAC won't matter.

HTC , ive owned each and every one series since the original one m7 , m8 , m9 and htc 10 .. i love your build quality , design , camera , audio output .. basically everything from your one series but if you retards switch from full metal body to glass unibody etc with that ugly htc u design , my moneys going to either one+5 or as much as id hate it probably an sony xz premium.
good luck htc , dont screw it up with your 2017 flagship

I notice that the 3.5mm headphone jack section now says "No" instead of "Yes" like it did last week for the U 11 specs on this site. Oh well. HOPEFULLY HTC was smart enough to enable "analog over USB" on the MicroUSB-C port, or else even if they do have another kill DAC like the 10 had, it's not gonna matter. I just hope they're not that stupid to do that. Samsung yeah, they're stupid about sound, but hopefully not HTC. lol

Also, I see Bluetooth 5.0 listed as well. I guess that's a plus for wireless headphone lovers.

Yes I agree! I just hope Edge Sense doesn't come off to people as being "gimmicky", but at least it shows HTC is thinking OUTSIDE the box. While that may not guarantee success, it also NEVER hurts either! lol

I also REALLY hope they offer: 1) The same and/or better KILLER DAC (and amp, both dedicated) like the 10 has 2) Analog over USB-C, or else the quality of the DAC and amp will be pointless 3) A bigger battery than the 10's 3000 mAh one (but I'm not holding my breath here lol) and 4) That HTC makes sure to certify VoLTE with T-Mobile here in the U.S. for the unlocked 11/U as they did for the unlocked 10 that I currently own.
