Are there any bugs in Oreo update? shall I update or stick with Nougat?

Tapsilog, 16 May 2018Do we need to download and update to oreo first before clea... more1. If your phone is not behaving buggy now. You can do the download, then power of and wipe the cache partition, then do the ROM update. (no need to factory reset)
2. If you already have bugs you want to get ride of, download and install the the ROM, then do the cache partition wipe & factory reset.
3. If you have bugs after the ROM update that you didn't have before, wipe the cache partition & factory reset and do not use old system restore files. Install everything from scratch.

This phone is on OREO which is 2.21.....
It has no bugs in it as I can tell.
If you are getting problems after, clearing your cache partition & factory resting will resolve it. As most time it's cause by conflicts by old drivers left over in the cache partition.

Hi. Need ur opinion...
I just got the u ultra 2 days ago.
A notification appears asking me to download software update 1.64.401.3..
Is it a good update to accept.. Or does this new software have any drawbacks.. as battery draining or something else ?

i seriously love this phone... specially what ever you are paying for...
ok fine i know it got snapdragon 821 but its flagship chip and stil performs like a champ... and come on for headjack 3.5 .... if htc remove headphone jack its bad and apple do is that good ???
this is the only phone with is amazing screen and cool design right now anyone can buy....
i got 128gb version and it works gr8 and i love it in blue 101% recommended

I got this phone last week for 290$, and at this price point I definitely recommend this phone, It's got a superb display with a surprisingly great performing camera and the whole experience is flagship-like and very fluid, as for battery performance though, I'd say it's mediocre, but the quick charging really makes up for that, and there's no significant heat problem with this phone, I mean it heats up a bit with heavy usage but nothing out of the ordinary .

It can be buy separately though. I'm now waiting my accessory to come if can use the 3.5mm adapter with simultaneously charging the phone, I will update here if I get it to work.
If you are ok with that, then you are good to go, it function just like a highend flagship phone.
Of course, depend on your country, HTC U11 maybe is a better deal, but price different is huge.

AnonD-758055, 09 May 2018i am planning to buy this phone,would you recommend this?is... moreI definitely recommend this phone because its price is par with the mid-range phones out there yet the specs are for flagship(well, it's htc flagship though) and when my friends said they like my new phone eventhough it has a thick bezel. When it comes to games, i'm playing PUBG, NBA 2k18 and mobile legends so far not experiencing any heat problems. Battery is good based on my daily usage pattern.

garbage phone is dead after three months,it was expensive mobile . I m not gonna buy any product from HTC anymore.

Another thing when using the USB type C to HDMI adapter. Only the charging adapter with Qualcomm QC, be it 2.0 or 3.0 can achieve 5V/1A charging while simultaneously using the phone for HDMI display, I found this charging way faster, I have plenty of OEM Qualcomm QC charger, including a Xiaomi powerbank that comes with QC2.0.
Otherwise, normal 5V charger, I get way below power, just around 0.3 to 0.5A for charging. Still can charge, but really way slower.
Other issue with the adapter with Samsung S8/Note 8/S9, I notice the Samsung Dex mode only activated if the charger power is plug in. If not, you only get screen mirroring features.
