    any Oreo Update for U Ultra?

      AnonD-740921, 27 Feb 2018Why on earth would they not include an option in camera set... moreI don't know why you not seeing it, but it is right there in the camera settings.
      1. open the camera
      2. tap the double dash on the left of the viewfinder to open the camera menu.
      3. scroll down to the end of the menu, you will see "settings" with the gear icon. tap it.
      4. uncheck the "shutter sound" checkbox. it will then say "off".

      Note: if you are not seeing it there, then the phone you bought is for a region where by law you can't take off the sound.

      The instructions I gave is based on the USA factory unlocked model.

        Why on earth would they not include an option in camera settings to turn off the annoying shutter sound. And the sound while taking screen shot is equally horrid.
        Battery life is sub par but that is expected because there's barely any space for a bigger battery in this tiny phone.

        If someone could tell me how to turn off the shutter sound without rooting it..

          All their phones have the worst battery possible. Surprised someone is saying this in 2018.
          They have been like this since the first Desire phone, the one that had 512MB RAM.

                The HTC 10 already has Oreo and that is a 2016 phone.
                HTC USA even stopped selling the phone (Discontinued) last year.

                                      2 days ago i baught this mobile. camera and gaming preformed well.but battery life not enoughfor hard user.

                                        yes, it is different from region to region.
                                        for one the US version does not support dual sim at all, even though the tray is the same.
                                        the supported LTE radio frequencies are different from region to region.
                                        the supported languages are different from Region to region.
                                        and that is just the things i know about
