Worst phone i have ever had, no doubt about it, constantly freezing and battery does not last long at all.

Make a new ringtone from a mp3 file using your wildfire's music player and then you'll get no silence at first. Hope this'll solve ur prob. Thx.

Quite good phone for android begginers and at low price.
The CPU could be better and more ram, but it does the job. Pictures are struggling when auto-adjust brightness and zoom, doesn't take like a 5MP shot, more like a 3.2MP.
Also the display isn't that good for games or some apps. So if you're buying for games, consider another phone.
Update to Android 2.2 is availeble, but will kill the root for good as there are no new methods to get root under 2.2. Also rooted 2.1 can hack CPU to 728MHz instead of basic ~500MHz.
Another user commented that it rings at the 2nd or 3rd ring, that is almost true, because it must start the phone app and it lags.Solution is to close some apps that are running, and it will ring at the first/first-and-a-half ring.
It isn't a state of the art phone, or killer specs, but at this price, as a first timer android users, it rocks ! Switching to android is great.

I'd like to get this phone and was wondering about the battery life and also if i have to regularly update anything. From what i understand, this is a Windows phone is it? If not, can some one help me explain if this is a good phone that can last me at least a year for me to used. Thanks!! :D
