I've found a major problem with this phone and HTC seem quite unwilling to correct this basic issue. If you call this phone it only starts ringing after the 2nd or 3rd ring.(sometimes never) Checked it out on a friends phone. Same problem. Checked my old Nokia's. They all ring instantly. (they can do one thing right) Anyway it's back in the box. Pity, otherwise a nice phone (except for the battery!). If you like one ring only calls settings....

HTC wildfire got a new Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) update wth the build no:1.25.707.1,Before this the FOTA update build no is 2.24.707.1. The question is; is that the new FOTA (1.25.707.1)is for the upgrading or downgrading???? Does anyone know????

i have seen both phones and they are equal in rating
if you are a person who doesn't like to use qwerty on screen then go for mini pro and also mini pro has a better camera quality plus you get HSUPA which means you can upload stuffs like [videos etc.] faster on the web if you get the pro with android 1.6 pls update it to 2.1 to get rid off some problems coming in 1.6 and if you can manage small 2.5 inch screen for web browsing and video watching then its great for you.
about wildfire , it has killer looks and the screen has good sensitivity [3.2 inch] but some said that the resolution is not good.
unlike pro the camera quality for video [15 fps] is poor and for taking pics the quality is satisfying.
i must advice you to wait for some time cause after MWC 2011 in quater two we are expecting for pro 2 with great touchscreen which is in rumors.

Its a nice phone except for the calculator. This funtion is faulty in so many ways. But do not expect htc to believe you. just try this basic test calculation, 101x101-101/101= If you do not get the answer 100 your phone is also wrong. And the answer to the question log 1= on the scientific calculator is not 0. But i admit the guys at htc are very good at giving out bullshit in trying to prove the phone is right, and i am wrong!
