@ Marco, I've had the Vivaz, which is the same as the pro without the keyboard and I've got the HTC wildfire now. The wildfire wins 100%. the vivaz has nothing but a camera, and even that isn't protected and it gets scratched easy and isn't as good then. the touchscreen is absoulte garbage on it compared to the wildfire. There's no apps to download like of the android market. the web browser is terrible, it would take you about 5 mins just to look at one site due to the bad touchscreen. the only thing the vivaz has over the wildfire is the camera and the quality of the screen. Other then that the wildfire beats on everything. Cheers

rye-oh, 10 Dec 2010I would like to know if the battery life of wildfire is goo... moreI have had a wildfire for 10 days. Hardly used it and had to charge it every 30 ish hours. No bluetooth on, a few mins on the internet, 10 texts and 30 calls made and recieved.Really no use for me.I am awaiting an envelpoe to return it.Told that the phone has high internal consumption whatever that is! Also, seems to go into a deep sleep/turned off mode after a few hours and will not recieve calls.

Is this a one off or has anyone else had similar probs.

I would like to know if the battery life of wildfire is good?? and compared to other HTC, which do you think has a longer battery life... I am currently owning a nokia X6, but seeing the possibilities of rooting and customizing android phones, I would like to try it out.. would you refer this phone or other HTC phones out there in the mid range price?? what do you think?? would appreciate your response.. :)

HTC also reconfirmed that the low-end Wildfire will also be getting a Froyo update soon, but they didn't mention a specific date. Previously they've promised that the low-end device will be updated before the end of the year so let's hope they keep that promise.

This phone is Awesome! But but the only problem is it is Slow! Let me remind you, It will take time! It's irritating that You click on "Call" then you hang around and then suddenly screen says, "Dialing"! Damn Irritating! But this happens only when you are a gadget freak! Coz this problem started when my Installed App count reached around 180 ;) So, If you are not like Me...You will never complain that phone is slow! In the Features, I would say "Android Market" is the best feature! Really... You can turn this phone in an Monster with Hell lot of Available apps! Don't worry....You can fully customize it according to your choice...Thanks to Full access to Android Market!

One Serious Drawback of this phone is it's Camera! I never find it 5MP! 1.3MP camera of my Old Nokia 6630 was better than this! This problem is with my phone or all... I don't know! I am seriously disappointed with it's camera!

On Positive Side, It got a brilliant screen.... Touch response is awesome.... Display is very nice.... Music quality is also awesome...It takes you to a different world! Then there are Apps.... This phone comes with basic softwares and you can then fully customize it...Moreover, Most apps are free... You just have to downlod them! :)

Final Word: I would recommend you this phone ONLY If you don't want a Good Camera! I loved this phone! It's simply Amazing! Thumbs Up!!

I bought Wildfire online from Infibeam for 15,504 Rs. and this was shipped form Ahmedabad.

I think for the same price you can get wildfire in Delhi also.

                                      Thanks,
