Sorry but the phone only lasts 4h on heavy usage.
The only way to get around that is to have
many battery packs, a usb battery pack or
a big battery with 5000mAh for more than 12h.
1300mAh is for 4h heavy usage only.

Hats off to HTC 4 making WildFire awesome mobile except the camera clarity is not like 5 mpx its like 3.2 mpx except the HTC sense is really makes me to always meddle this and reg the battery open the running services option in the mobile and stop all unwanted that is running at the background which saves battery and i get a backup upto 1 nd 1/2 days

wildfire's screen resolution is really bad.. if it would have been better, i wouldn't have had second thoughts about buying it.. does the screen resolution make any big difference as compared to other good phones??

                                        With regards to your inquiry,

Kindly note that Google has made us aware of an issue affecting updates to Android-powered handsets those results in the Android Market client becoming completely disabled after a platform software update. As a result, HTC has decided to temporarily suspend all current FOTA (Firmware over the Air) updates that upgrade our phones from one Android platform version to another.. HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible user experience. We are working closely with Google to resolve this issue quickly and will resume our programme of updates as soon as this issue is resolved.
And we are working closely with Google and our other partners to ensure we have the earliest access to everything we need to provide a complete and solid Sense experience on Froyo. We expect to release all updates but can't be more specific yet."
