Anonymous, 27 Sep 2010TO ALL WILDFIRE USERS I have a question, everyone says t... moreIn regards to the display, the resolution is low at 240x320. Colours and clarity is excellent for this low resolution, but it does effect web browsing and looking at photos you may have taken, things look jagged.

The biggest issue is not all applications will be available from marketplace.

Don't let that put you off though this is an excellent phone!

              TO ALL WILDFIRE USERS

I have a question, everyone says that this phone has a small resolution. Im confused with this statement.
Does this mean that the phone has a darker display (like that of n82 was)

How bright is the display compared to iphone/ SE W995 /Samsung Jet ??

By the by, I just bought this as a Pre-pay so I could have a decent map while in Austalia for a couple of months, really good phone, very impressed, only thing that is no good is the camera, but I have a Canon 7D if I want to take a picture...

I made a review of the phone - http://hirudov.com/misc/HTC-Wildfire.php and found it very nice for the price. I still like the Nokia E72 more, but the HTC have potential. The G-Sensor is awesome.

                      Hi!

I am facing one problem in my wildfire. While syncing with mail exchange server it has asked for password & i hv typed the password. Now when my mailbox has been synchronised every thing was ok but when i unlocked my phone, it started asking for password, and i hv entered the password (which i had entered while syncing with my mailbox) & phone has accepted it.

But why it's asking for password when i am unlocking my phone, it should ask for it only while opening mailbox. I can only remove that password if i delete my mailbox which i had synchronised.

Plz tell me how can i remove that password & also keep my mailbox.

                      thnx

                                Really strange issue...

First thing, I would suggest is Hard Reset. All your data will get wiped off, apps, contacts, sms.
You can backup your contacts and sms using apps
For contacts, open people -> Menu and export to SD

For sms, use SMS backup and restore

For installed apps, MyBackup...dunno whether you need to root your mobile or not.

After that hard reset from settings.

Check this forum out, you will get more help.
                                http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=701

Try this method for hard reset, will be much better.

                                  Hi,
I have a problem with htc(wild fire). I cannot use with it to make a phone call and to use
the internet . But it can only accept incoming call.
I joined it with the computer last night to download something from the internet and I also
charge it through the computer at the same time. At that time the connection had error so I unplugged it from USB and the charging plug. After some time I reconnect with it to the computer. But my phone had something wrong.
I m a regular customer of htc. If I cannot solve this problem today, I’ll be difficult to continue my
work. So plz answer me quick . I have a work today.
                                  Thanks a lot
