Thanks for your overwhelming response to m... moreAbt Messaging...the default google is not so great...so nearly every1 I wud say uses apps for it...u can customise looks and fonts and stuff...Messagin is in threaded format....just like d gmails or our outlook mails...it will b definitely new experience...missin d old chronological format but in a way its simpler especially for bulk messagin...

I purchased HTC Wildfire on 18 Sept..based on my first week experience...I would definitely recommend this phone...its just beyond awesome.....UI is very much intuitive...HTC widgets make your day to day life easy..Sound/video quality and camera...is nice...processing is also good...it is like a pocket PC.

Thanks for your overwhelming response to my post, am really happy .. thanks for suggestions .. good input, last night i went for checking mobile price, it is really affordable.... and in fact it is in demand.. i got excited to hear this .. just few hours b4 i placed my order, they promised me to deliver in two days .. one thing i want to very sure ... Messaging, as i am much very addicted to SE's interface and style.... heartly thanks to one and all for guidance and support ! but i still love SE .... Miss u darling ..

I ordered from flipkart...got proper bills
Actually i wud have got the mobile on the 4th day as ma place was outside d courier guys boundary...so instead I went I collected it from courier wala on 3rd day itself (was just 30mins away)...I opted pay on delivery option :)

There, the wildfire costs 16,900/- and only black color is available.(wtf)

All the features you asked for is there in WF...
I wud say HTC UI is much better than SE...even I was a SE fan, but SE is quite disappointing these days
SE Xperia has 1.6 Android, even if it gets upgraded, it will get 2.1. But WF will get upgraded to 2.2 [Yet to confirm about WF getting upgraded]
WF has bigger screen and same resolution of Xperia mini.
search functionalilty is really awesome...I dunno whether that is completely Android functionality or HTC has added sumthin 2 default one...but its really kewl
Even I play games v occassinaly and have many games installed in ma mob [though not d best ones which req greater reslution]...already installed 120 apps and games...[using custom ROM]
UI and processor not a disappointment at all for ur "less gamin reqmnt"...
Now up2 u to decide... :)

Recently i got an idea to go for HTC Wildfire... moreEven im a SE user since long time and was planning for x10mini pro or x8 (due to small screen in mini) then my husband shown me this phone, and i found this phone better then SE in many factors.
My usage is exactly the same as yours and im just afraid that the htc UI is as gud as SE. in that case this phone is a gud choice

Recently i got an idea to go for HTC Wildfire , i was planing to buy Xperia X10 Mini Pro, after the postpone of Android update in SE, am just confused, right from the first mobile device am using Sony Ericsson only , i just need a good User Interface, Easy Messaging (t9,word detection), Smart search in contacts, Good audio quality,clarity in call,games occasionally, browsing indeed option. which one should i go for ... SE X10 Mini pro or HTC WildFire ...... Please suggest me , am gonna buy this weekend..

maddy, 25 Sep 2010hi guys.. Many people are commenting about its slow process... moreIs it?? I never felt so after using for the last 1 month...
Every other mobile or PC gets hanged, no matter wat processing power is behind...
I have faced hang-ups but as far I know, those are issues with apps...proof is the comments in the apps page...
So maddy, dont worry buddy...its a gud mobile in all...I m loving it and many here too...
Always keep killing apps which you are not using, stop unwanted apps from running on start-up....just like we do in PC using msconfig and performance will always be better :)
