while a locked version is service provider specific....

Just bought this hp yesterday, how to install the apk freeware to my htc wildfire? I copy the apk file to sd card via usb cable but fail to open the software, this hp dont have the folder explorer? I cant find the apk file....Anyone can help? thanks....

josette , 17 Aug 2010I got the wildfire yesterday, my problem is I am having rea... moreI think ur nails are the prob ...i had long nails while using nokia 5800 since it was resistive touch it use 2work great ...but wild fire is capacitive screen which means it wont sense ur nail but skin ...i never faced a prob typing on my htc after getting rid of my nails :) try it once

I got the wildfire yesterday, my problem is I am having real trouble texting I have long nails not had trouble texting on my samsung phone, its very frustrating - I am using the keypad letters not qwerty but as soon as I touch for texting it all goes wrong, any ideas please ............

Again my question.
The thing is in resolution so i'am interested what navigation support wildfire resolution.
I think Navigon can do it, but if somebody know 4 sure...

Mayur M, 16 Aug 2010hi guyz...i have been using this phone for past cpl of week... moreHi, i had a similar problem last night but was soon able to correct it.
By default, your phone option is selected to 'charge-only' when you plug it to a computer. In order to use it in transferring files from pc to phone, and vice versa, you have to go to the PC Connectivity setting. You should see there an option of charge only, disk drive and a 3rd that i forgot..if this page does not appear, while on the pc connectivity (inside) page, click on the menu icon and it should appear right away.

Internet Tethering is available, wc means you can connect your phone to your PC and use Internet Sharing, Install HTC Sync first

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2010it quite unlikely that wildfire will have an update, Andro... moreyou can wait if "in the near future", you will be recieving a FOTA form HTC, or try to root the phone, it will cost you your warranty though...

mac, 15 Aug 2010thanks shovon. another thing.(anyone who has bought this ph... morethe magic which runs 1.5 android have this issue with N series routers, particularly with motorola and belkin routers, Desire phones may have this issues as well, but only for moto or belkin. what happens is the phone resets the modem once it attempted to connect to the router.
