Anonymous, 13 Aug 2010You should know better then to buy your phone just because ... moreI have not bought any phone yet. I'm just considering weather to buy the HTC Wildfire or another phone as I want value for my hard earned cash. A phone that will last me a long time/ has lots of features & function for my purpose and that it can be upgraded and supported by the company unlike LG, Samsung, acer etc.who don't bother at all.

That's why I'm asking questions on this forum to find out if it's worth buying this phone!

I think the "requirements" ur talking about are actually the recommended to have. A device like the wildfire with a low cpu would definitely benefit more than the desire from froyo

I bought this phone last night and enjoying it. Initially, i was planning to get either Samsung Omnia or Sony Ericsson Vivaz but i found those too really expensive.

Then i was introduced to this phone..Really affordable here in the Philippines and the performance is way above my expectations..

                              I love the HTC sense..

zhoe to copy contacts from SIM to Phone--

click on the PEOPLE icon, once all your sim contacts appear, click on MENU at the bottom, then select VIEW..uncheck SIM and check PHONE...of course you have to make sure that you have already copied your contacts to your phone before you do this.

SweetDrug, 12 Aug 2010Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair) Is this upgradable????????I doubt it
Android 2.2(Froyo) requires a higher hardware specifications like 1ghz processor

SweetDrug, 12 Aug 2010Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair) Is this upgradable????????it quite unlikely that wildfire will have an update,
Android 2.2 requires certain higher hardware requirements like min 1Ghz processor speed

Lower res than Desire = Better battery life.

Web feeds/ Facebook, twiiter, IM (msn droid & Yahoo) updates can be turned off to extend battery life.

Has all the Apps that you need social networking etc, and thru the gmail/googlemail, the market app for free apps in quite extensive.
