Lower res than Desire = Better battery life.
Web feeds/ Facebook updates can be turned off to extend battery life.
Has all the Apps that you need social networking etc, and thru the gmail, the market for free apps in quite extensive.
Very Impressised with the intuitive layout and function of the HTC, very user friendly.
8or9 /10 seems about right, though I don't know what it would need to be a 10!
Its an iphone for people who aren't sheep! Baa!

The resolution is a bit low and isn't the standard (320 x 480) which may lead to incompatibility with some apps from the Android Market....Am I right?

People when is Android 2.2 coming for HTC Wildfire, my phone's mem is full and in order to download new software, I have to end up deleting the old software as cannot install programes on the mem card at the moment with Android 2.1.
Apart from that, itz an amazing phone. An Iphone 4 killer.
Check it out, the IFans are dying out of JEALOUSY.

Trust me I had a phone with excellent camera before and it was the happiest day of my life when I got rid of it, only camera worked properly. So this is a minor sacrifice for such quality. Phone is amazing.

I like the design of the wildfire, but a few things put me off from buying it: video recording and photos are of poor quality- Lg gt540 has better quality and it's cheaper! I wonder, can an update to android 2.2 fix the video and camera quality of The htc wildfire?

hey ppl can u temme if v can use wildfire to connect to laptop and use it for internet as we do in nokia phones using the pc suite is it possible in htc wildfire or any htc phones has any1 really tried using net by connecting it to laptop but the same thing is not possible for samsung phones so i want to know if its possible for htc phones???

My wife uses it more than 2 weeks, no problems at all.
The view is good, quality ok, just photos are lower than middel, but for us it is not first choise thing.
Super phone for good price, not too big, will be upgraded to Android 2.2.
