I am trying to download Viber on to my Wildfire but it keeps coming up as unsuccessful. The phone has Android version 2.2.1. I can't download any apps on it. Is this because it needs to have the OS upgraded? I asked Optus who I have a contract with but they said to contact HTC who gave me a list troubleshooter things to do but it says to go to the Safe Mode but there isn't one.

Wonderful phone.Rooted and installed Cyanogenmod 7.2 (Gingerbread 2.3).Really responsive touchscreen.LOve it

ya its nice phn but u doesnt play game very fast its so slow....and battery doesnt support full day.....if u start gps system the battery completely down in a few hour (max 1 hour ) ...camera is awsom....

Best thing u can do is sale the phone... worst phone..

i have this phone for more than 2years. for simple internet and txt, it's ok, not that good. my problem now is i can't access google play store, when i tap on it, it says "the application has stopped unexpectedly..." i need help how to resolve this. if anyone could help me, i would appreciate it. thanks in advance. good day to all. :)

If any one wants to change their rom, which is in fact the simplest thing on earth, can follow this guide
if you are on 2.2.1 then you need to downgrade to 2.1 to use unrevoked.
read use your eye balls to upgrade your phone to whatever rom u want by this tutorial

-slow processing speed... moreI guess you got some duplicate phone under the brandname of HTC WILDFIRE.
Slow processing- you can see already its process is half of new smart phones so how one can expect fastest speed out of it.
Hangover problem - it is only when its version upgraded otherwise never face issue
Camera - Awasome. No one can claim on its camera and video resolution. It is truly 5 MP.
Many additional feature are there but as of today many smartphone can easily throwing out this phone because of low price, compaq feature, excellent display, dual camera and super fast processor etc etc.
Somewhere you are right but not 100%. Cheers.

Everyone has it own way of using phones similarly phone has its own way of processing the given data...Im using it since 2years...It does everything except high end gaming n playing HD videos...I got an SGS Duos too but it shows lags in playing audio which. Wildfire never did in this two years...moreover its like the price u pay the quality u get...less u pay the less u get...simple as it is...better is wat excepting the thing in positive way...

this phone is great people say the battery runs out quick. maybe its because you dont know how to use it,if your phone freezez or laggs its because you have many aplications on thats why to fix it power of the and power it on again be pationt till your phone boots on

-slow processing speed
-hangs whenever u try to open app.
-very low quality camera
-hangs even when u try to receive a call or call someone.
-battery dies out very soon.
