Zo2a, 02 Feb 2012Dear All Kindly advice about the internal memory i foun... moreMay be here is better explanation How to install applications on SD card?

By default, all applications on the handset are installed on the phone memory. An application can only be moved to the SD card if it was designed by the developer to have that function.

To install applications to the SD card, from the home screen please press MENU > Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
Under the Downloaded tab, tap the application that you want to install on the SD card then tap Move to SD card.

NOTE 1: If the Move to SD card option is grayed out, this means that the application does not have the capability to be installed on the SD card.

NOTE 2: You will not be able to use the applications on the SD card if the handset is on Disk drive mode connected to a computer.

Zo2a, 02 Feb 2012Dear All Kindly advice about the internal memory i foun... moreMove downloaded applications from internal storage to the (SD) card.

1.From the Home screen, press Meny, and then tap Settings.
                2.Tap Applications > Manage applications.
3.On the Downloaded tab, tap the application you want to move.
                4.Tap Move to SD card.

**You can only move applications that are not preinstalled on HTC Wildfire S.

Also All applications are not able to shift them to SD Card. Usually small application cannot shift. The games and big size apps usually are able to shift them to SD Card. Every thing is depending which kind of apps you want to use.

Vijay, 04 Feb 2012Guys plz give ur advice among HTC Wildfire S, Samsung Galax... moreOverall HTC as brand is better than Samsung and SonyEricsson. Recommendations are to buy.
I use this phone since November 2011. At the beginning was slower and freezes some times when you want to answer incoming call, but after system update 2.3.5 is much, much better.

Arend, 04 Feb 2012Hi can somebody help me i bought a HTC wildfire. I want to ... moreCopying files to or from the storage card

You can copy your music, photos, and other files to the storage card.
1.Connect HTC Wildfire S to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2.On the Connect to PC screen, tap Disk drive, and then tap Done. On your computer, the storage card is recognized as a removable disk.
3.Navigate to the removable disk and open it.
                    4.Do one of the following:
-Copy the files from the computer to the storage card’s root folder.
-Copy the files from the storage card to a folder in your computer.
5.After copying the files, unmount the removable disk (that is, the connected HTC Wildfire S) as required by your computer’s operating system to safely remove HTC Wildfire S.
                    6.Do one of the following:
-Disconnect HTC Wildfire S from the computer.
-If you want to keep HTC Wildfire S connected to the computer but want it to be able to access the storage card, open the Notifications panel, tap Disk drive, select an option except Disk drive, and then tap Done.

21grams, 04 Feb 2012It's a nice phone for it's price, I own one myself. On norm... moreI completely agree with you. My colleague had the HTC Sensation (with battery capacity of 1520 mAh) and he barely lasted up to 1 day. Then replace it with HTC Wildfire S (with battery capacity 1230 mAh) and now also using this phone lasts more than 2 days. The phones are used almost identically, almost the same number of phone calls, internet, e-mail, etc...

Means HTC Wildfire S approximately the same way using a battery lasts almost twice as much HTC Sensation. It is logical and normal that a larger display and more powerful processor consume more battery power. I do not think that the phones battery is bad, because there are much worse the more expensive phones. not forget this is a low-budget phone from a lower class but is very good. Value for money 5 stars.

                      Here is HTC Sensation specifications:
                      •battery capacity 1520 mAh,
                      •display 540 x 960 pixels with 4.3 inches and
                      •dual-core 1.2 GHz Scorpion processor

Here is HTC Wildfire S specifications:
                      •battery capacity 1230 mAh,
                      •display 320 x 480 pixels and

On normal use (some calling, sms, internet, games) my battery works ~30-40hours per charge. On intense use - no matter what smartphone you buy, it you'll need to charge it every day. I'm not worried if my battery goes out of life - you can buy a replecement for ~15$ with even more capacity.

No Flash, because the ARM processor on this phone uses an unsopported architecture. This is ARM 11. Flash needs ARMv7

I'm trying to go everywhere to warn people about this brick as much as possible.

This phone is useless. With over 100 pages of reviews already this is probably pointless but I post anyway in the hopes that some poor soul might read this and be dissuaded from buying it.

It's slow, very laggy. The thing freezes for a few seconds many times when taking out of standby.

And that's when I'm lucky enough to get it out of standby because I'm fighting with the miserably worthless touchscreen to get it to respond properly.

The camera is pointless, since the processor is so laggy that it takes a second to take a picture.

                                        The speaker sounds awful.

This isn't entry level, it's cheap garbage.

(p.s. thank you so much to this website for not forcing me to sign up just to post one simple review. I'm sick of every website thinking they're so special that I want to bother with that. You guys are awesome)
