Yes the phone will work on the telus network. It is a pentaband phone and supports all of telus's frequencies.

Camera is Best. Good quality but slow auto-focusing
The downside is its battery, and sometimes it heats.can anybody help get fix this problem thanks

I have been using this phone for last 8 months. It's possibly the best thing you can get, if you want to have a real experience with smartphones. No issues of any kind.

So after debating for so long on what phone to upgrade to I decided on the HTC 8x and what a fantastic choice it has been! The phone is beautiful in every detail, it works magnificently and does everything I need it to do and more. The screen on this is the perfect size at 4.3inches, I personally think this is the size a mobile phone should be, any bigger just doesn't feel right. The os is windows 8 and it is so smooth and a joy to use.

The battery problem is about windows phone. but you can fix it. if you have installed lots of programs, you will see that battery usage even at stand by increased. you should go settings and slide the screen right and block all background apps. dont worry all blocked apps will work well (i didnt test viber or line or.... on that situ). let your wifi and location stay turned on they dont use battery when they are stand by. after all u will find that your eight x can be stand by for at least ten days.

Hi everyone,
Really hoping someone can help me out. I purchased an HTC 8x last week. I got it from Verizon. I live in Toronto, Canada and I'm really hoping that it will work with my local carrier (TELUS). Is there someone who can confirm with me whether it will or will not work on the TELUS network. I've been told that the Verizon device frequencies do not always work with or are compatible with Canadian carriers. If anyone can provide me with their thoughts I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance!

Dropped phone and cracked screen. Very difficult to replace and many shops refuse to service them. With that design and lack of battery replacement, I'll pass.

a good phone at the start but 6 months in phone would not charge just kept switching on and off had it replaced by my supplyer 2/12 months in and the new phone will not charge at all have told supplyer i want a differnt phone whatch tis space??????
