Screen is worse, and if you will make a comparision betwen an dual core 1.5 Krait Snapdragon S4 (WP version) with an 1.2 quad core cortex a7(android version), you will see a big dierence. 8X BEATS EVEN 1.5 QUAD CORE CORTEX A9 ANDROID PROCESSORS. 8X is much better than Moto G. and WP is much stable than Android.

I have 8x too, and i have no problems. i personalized it with colors, widgets, tiles and apps, and it doesn't even have lag.

This phone is great. I bought it a month ago, and I am not sorry for the choice. Design is very beautiful and comfortable, and the performance is still top notch, even if it was launched on market in the late 2012. Camera colors are stunning, Beats Audio is just heaven, and the screen is one of the best I've ever seen. The problem is that you will find cases and other accessories on the internet only. And remember, this is the second best WP after Lumia 1020, cuz the 1320 and 1520 are in the PHABLET category and you really don't need an Quad core\octa core smartphone. This phone beats an quad core cortex a9 or a quad core snapdragon 400 with krait (for android).

The HTC has windows OS while Moto G has android(which I think is much better). The Moto G has a better screen, processor and GPU. However the 8X is much better in terms of camera so if camera quality is very important to you, it is better to go with the 8X. If a decent camera is enough for you then I would recommend the Moto G.
