Im really satisfied with this mobile.. But can any one tell me is there any ways to increase the battery back up ?? it lasts only for 6 hrs if i use continiously:(

hi i just want to ask something guys.my sister bought me htc 8x in dubai she just updated the software to gdr3.the reason for updating is the radio is not functioning.so we thought that if we upgrade to gdr3 the radio will function but still not working after the update to gdr3.can anyone help me here please?
