This phone suffers from input lag (touch events on the screen have a delay). You can easily feel this by comparing scrolling delay to the other phones like Lumia 920, Lumia 800 or any of the iPhones.
Galaxy S3 also suffers from input lag (finger movement events are displayed with delay on the phone screen)
Don't confuse this with scrolling performance - SGS3 and windows phones have smooth scrolling performance, but because of the input lag, the scrolling doesn't exactly match the movement on the screen on the 8X. Like I said, not all phones suffer from this on any of the leading smartphone platforms.
Also this phone has a strange LCD ripple effect when tapped at the sides - I've tested on 2 different 8X-es and both suffer from the same problem.
For a 440€ phone, that's absolutely ridiculous. Do not buy, try the Lumia 920 if you want WP8.

I'm rather perplexed why the HTC 8X doesn't support WiFi Hotspot. For practical and justifiable reasons it's a feature I need and use regularly. Perhaps I'm better off talking to Nokia about the 920 or continue to purchase Samsung high end Android devices.

Android offer a total customization, the downside? lags if you customize too much, example : you use 800MHz phone with 3D openGL Live Wallpaper or too many widget. WP8 offer more stability, the downside? that Live Tiles, what you can do just change color and and position. There's more different just search. both had their own pros and cons.

I've had a Dell Venue (Android version) for a year or so and after I bought WP version 0 Dell Venue Pro and WOW! What a difference! I said to myself I never ever am going back to Android. I understand it offers more options for configuration but that the only real plus compared to WP. See, both before-mentioned Dells had 99% same specs, apart from the 8 vs. 5 mega cam, but CPU, RAM, etc. was the same and on WP version now I feel like I have a dual core (at least!). No comparison there.

This site barely gives enough information now. All it lists are the technical specifications which are nearly the same on every recent phone. "8 Megapixel, quad core, HD Video, Hi def screen" etc. When in fact it should also list innovations, and something that the phone does differently, the additional features that stand out. Sort it
