This is a huge disappointment. Absolutely no improvement I regret buying the Ascend M8 judging from this there will be no 4.3 or Kitkat Update for Mate 1
Serioulsy I had pegged my hopes on Ascend Mate 2 Huawei needs to contact me I can design the next phone for them that could be the phone everyone would want

AnonD-110578, 06 Jan 2014I just bought Huawei ascend mate 1 2 Weeks ago now they hav... moremost probably they will jump to 4.4 for ascend mate recently there is official release of firmware b708 4.2.2. 4.3 almost the same just a few add on on 4.3 but the rest the same with 4.2.2.

too much talking bla bla! you cant even identify the difference between 720p and 1080p with your naked eye?why 1080p? if resolutions seems alike at least you can power! what samsung and other manufacturers did? they will go back to the basic!720p is emough for mobile!

This is 720P, blabla...! The only thing is, you're only a human,not a fr--king eagle. you'd be glad Huawei didn't treat you like 14yr old, slam 1080P at twice the cost to your face and drain ur battery 15-20% sooner.

I have the Mate1, it is a great phone. I am getting the mate2 when it releases as long as the battery is as good.
