I was having the same problem. It can not be repaired. The booloader is now locked. The only solution is to re-write its Operating System. Which Huawei Support Centre guys refused to do.

You know you don't have to wait for Huawei till they deliver updates to your region.
You can download updates from other regions and flash easily. Just use the local update function. It's not rocket science.

They built a buggy OS. My Mate 7 is already running Marshmallow and am sure not too many OEMs can boast of that.

Hello everyone new to this site..
Question.. Does the Huawei ascend mate 7 L10 version the gold one work with wind mobile? I checked the frequency and it does. My phone is unlocked and even bought the unlock codes to see if it unlocks for wind..
And didn't.. Not sure if it's because i live in canada or what lol.
Can anyone offer me suggestions? I even switched to 3g auto just in case the lte 4g didn't work but no matter it gets nothing..

happy to here your experience with marshmallow but those of in Ghana or west Africa are yet to get even lollipop update before thinking of marshmallow. this is heartbreaking, still stuck with kit Kat, Huawei is gradually losing their customers in Africa, A lot of my friends has given up and buy other brands where there is a timely updates, Am also thinking of getting rid of Huawei very soon if the update didn't come soon. Huawei be smart and lead the market in Africa, a word to a wise is ........

If you have the same problem, then it probably is a SIM or Network problem. Have your SIM/Network provider replace your SIM or file a complaint with poor service from your network.

If after transferring the SIM card to another phone, everything becomes 100% OK, then your Mate 7 phone is the problem. Try to check for damage on the microphone or if something or some dirt is covering it. If everything seems clean and still nobody can hear you during a call, your last option is to do a FACTORY RESET. Backup your contacts and other data before a factory reset.

If a factory reset does not solve the problem, bring your phone to a service center for hardware checkup or software reinstallation/update.

                                        Sorry got this one wrong:
                                        -----
Bug #3: Screen casting via Wifi direct no longer works
(used to work with KitKat and Lollipop). Huawei will likely fix it in final
                                        official Marshmallow release.
                                        ----
Screen casting via Wifi direct WORKS PERFECTLY in marshmallow beta!
Somehow, I thought screencasting via Wifi Direct didn't work anymore because the update from KitKat to Lollipop to Marshmallow beta inadvertently turned off the Wifi Direct option. (I enabled it using: Settings -> Display -> Wireless Display -> Menu -> Wireless display (I tapped checkbox to enable).

Marshmallow beta is really great. Still no major bugs or crashes or battery drain after about a week of use! I'm very satisfied even if it is still beta software... Looking forward to the official marshmallow release. (So far, after about a week of use, I only noticed two minor bugs: Bug 1: 'camera effects' show scrambled preview but does not affect final picture quality or camera function in any way.
Bug 2: Apps cannot display the date on the status bar. I have an app from playstore (Date on status bar) which I like to always display the date on the status bar so anywhere on my phone I don't have to pull down to status bar to see the date.
I'm never going back to KitKat or Lollipop even if the downgrade package is released.
Marshmallow just have so many features I can't give up --- Playstore purchase through fingerprint; LTE-only option in the standard menu; ability to reduce the size of the status bar and navigation bar; ability to turn your screen to black and white mode and even negative or various color blind options!, wifi direct, fluid/smooth lovely marshmallow material design interface, lots of new camera features, etc. not available in either KitKat and/or Lollipop. Marshmallow beta really is that good! Much better than the final official Lollipop ever was (yes, even better than your original Kitkat software!)

Good work Huawei! Looking forward to your final Marshmallow release soon!
I can hardly wait... I'm sure it will even be a much more refined software with the bugs eliminated!
