Love its premium build, but recently noticed the contacts, phonebook and call log blanks out, with nothing on display. Comes back in bits, then blanks out again. Frustrating. Wats the issue? Anyone?

Hello, I have a question.
Have had this phone for almost a month now and I still haven't received any OTA updates so I'm thinking about downloading the software from Huawei's webpage. But since I don't have an SD card where do I have to put the folder? Also which software exactly do I have to download? I am not sure what firmware I have, the Android version is 4.4.2.
I have the international MT7-L09 phone. Thanks!

Hello All
I am not sure if its the recent update on my handset but I recently noticed that when I am connected to WIFI it shows the normal WIFI signal bars and now of late, the 4G/3G logo and bars as well.
This makes me nervous with the price of mobile data
Does anyone have any input?
My specs are as follows.
Huawei Mate 7 (MT7-L09) with build B329 version 5.1.1

I have huawei ascend mate 7 gold edition, the one with 3gb Ram
the problem is that since I updated to lollipop, when i receive facebook notifications and I try to open it from the notifications bar, it doesn't open
the notification just disappear after i tab on it and the application doesn't open
any help would be really appreciated, and thanks in advance.

I just got the phone 4 months ago and it was working like lightening amazing performance and battery and voice clarity over GSM network not to mention whatsapp and viber. However I have been in complete agony with my contacts continuously updating and hence I cant get to view missed calls, make calls, open/view/edit contacts. The local dealer took it for 10 days and asked me to remove the google synchronization which worked fine for a day and I'm back again to same problem.
Anyone knows how to sort it out please please please let me know.

rich, 14 Jan 2016Update your facebok apps or download new version....you have to download it from the Huawei website and then perform an upgrade on your phone. I did that to mine and quite honestly, it isnt much different from the previous version
