I have this phone for 4 monthes and its great and I haven't any lag or bug in this device . Usually my phone needs 50 percent battry for a full day . The display is beautiful and I just miss lollipop version then I never think about changing my device coz it has more than what I needs and demands

i bought mine just 6 days ago, Mate 7 TL 10 gold version. after updating the firmware, the battery seems to drain very quickly. before i sleep, battery was at 97% but when i woke up next morning, battery is down to 18%. i think its a firmware issue after updating the new firmware. but now i have no choice but to root it back to the previous firmware. to be very honest, bad experience for me.
p/s i only had wifi turn on when i slept. i never had this issues with my other phones e.g. mi3, galaxy s4, iphone4

MH, 21 Sep 2015From 1am - 9am, my battery lost 5%. It's been 8 days since ... moreYou updated your phone to B137? Is that version an official release from Huawei? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I remember seeing B137 update on XDA and it's Lollipop.
So if B137 is in fact Lollipop then I guess it is still buggy considering the fact that it's not been officially released yet.
So last night my phone was on 72% at 1am, I woke up at almost 9am. My bettery was on 69%. Everything was off: wifi, 3g, apps

I turned off everything and closed all apps before going to sleep. I don't know if 5% is good

Go4mate7, 16 Sep 2015Well I don't know...

My mate 7 is still losing energy after updating it to B137. It looks like it's better, though. It has lost some 10% in 4.30 hours. It's still doing badly , I know.
I've tried Pc Mark' battery work benchmark and both times it scored 4.20 minutes, from 100 to 20% ( screen brightness at 40%, wifi, GPS and all battery saving features on (smart profile), no apps in the background)
The test is quite reliable and a good picture of what a continuous usage would do to your battery. And, I see it could last for some 5 hours of screen on time, not too bad, but it should be 7 hours. Don't you think?
Please, the ones who are getting 7 hour of screen on time and everyone, do this test and tell us.
My LG G3 doesn't loose energy while idle. It can stay 100% for at least 15 hours. This Mate 7 should not lose anything also.
Please do the PC MARK battery benchmark test.

Leo, 16 Sep 2015Before I had one plus one and over a night it drops 1% in f... moreWell I don't know...
But irrespective of how much juice my mate7 is losing in idle mode iam quite satisfied with over all battery performance.
It is usually lasting for more than 1 day with heavy usage as I have already mentioned in my previous post.
I always keeps on gps and WiFi.
After reading eisley reply I google about battery lasting performance in idle mode and i found that usually the battery level of any android smart fone drop 1 to 2% in a period of 10hrs so dats fine and quite comprehensive.
I have no idea why my mate 7 is losing aleast 5% in idle mode over a period of 10hrs.
I haven't used any battery testing benchmark app yet like geekbench 3 etc.
