i have a problem recently with mate 7 sometimes it mutes itself while i can see the volume indicator at max and the only solution is to restart it.

but sony c5 ultra has seperate micro sd slot instead of using sim 2 in this.
another thing is sony xperia c5 ultra has an expandable memory upto 200gb.
one more thing is that sony has front facing camera of 15 mp with flash.
another one is that sony has a gpu of 720 instead of 6 hundred something of ascend.
only down fall of sony is for battery-2930mah compared to 4100 of ascend. but 2930 is decent enough for a hardcore gamer like me.

hi Guys. ive been reading about this phone for quite sometime and had done some comparison. the on par competitor for this phone is the Oppo R7 Plus because the specs are nearly similar. except that the R7 has Android 5.1 and fast charge. No NFC on the R7. another this is, smartphone has a lifespan for 1year only until some hardware malfunctions, can I get feedbacks on how long you guys had been using your Mate7? just wanna know your feedback, should I go for the Mate7 or R7 ? appreciate your feedback guys. cheers!

AnonD-424547, 26 Aug 2015i'd like to ask about durability if shocked or fall down on... moreIn my opinion it is a very strong phone just today as i was going to go down the stairs my phone fell off my pile of books from the top 2 stories down and there was quite an impact.The screen did not shatter or even have a single scratch, the phone did not bend or anything. There were no damages physically. There was however some damage to the lcd inside the screen but i expected way worse from a smartphone that thin. You would never be able to tell that there was any damage by looking at the phone until you switched it on.

Have used many flagship models and my heart still stays with mate 7. Its everything that i can ask for. Beautiful 6 inch screen, premium and slim built quality, powerful processor, microsd expandable, DTS loud and clear music quality, fast and accurate fingerprint scanner and amazing battery life. Its really a mate for life! I had note 4 and note 5, Z3+ and quickly sold them off. Everything pales in comparasion with mate 7!

A very good phone. I have the 16 GB storage 2 GB RAM version. The screen is very clear to read. I love the 4100 mAh battery and the clever power control of the phone. I run my phone pretty hard and still have 20% battery after two days. The overall size of the phone feels a bit big in my hands but it's lovely to have such a big screen to read. * One slightly bad feature for me is the double push on the down volume to start the camera when the phone is locked - I find I'm always unlocking the phone and taking a picture as I put my phone in my pocket, and this can't be turned off. * I dislike not having an App Drawer and having all my icons all over the desktop, but this is easily resolved by using Nova launcher from the app market. * Speaker call volume is very good. * Camera is excellent. *
The other downside of having this phone is it runs Kitkat 4.4.4 which doesn't allow third party apps to write to the SD card. Fortunately I managed to root the phone with Kingo tweak the OS and so I can now use Open Camera and have it write images to the SD card.
*Overall a great phone at a good price here in Australia from Vodafone.

i'm asking about the signal in weak signal areas.. any one tried it .. please advice.
