Bro, how much is huawei ascend mate7 selling in your country? which version did you get gold 32GB or silver 16gb? how long does the battery last? does it heat up when gaming? how bout the back camera does it take great picture? any issue with wifi & 4G LTE drop/lost connection? here in malaysia gold 32GB/3GB cost RM1999=USD$550 silver 16GB/2GB cost RM1799=USD$495 :) really want to buy one :)

Tcool, 30 Jan 2015Wow man, we are talking about the crap Z2 with small screen... moreFirst, you said that "octa core can perform better in games". So I tried to debunk the cores gimmick by stating that the all mighty Tegra K1 only has 2 cores, but it runs game like a champ.
But you denied that. Then, I proceed to giving the proof that Tegra K1 is a much much more capable chipset than Kirin 925 despite having only 2 cores while the latter has 8 cores, by posting the their respective Basemark X scores.
HTC Nexus 9 comes into play because it has the 64-bit version of Tegra K1.
Of course, Z2 has a smaller battery, but it also has a smaller display resulting in better endurance rating than the Mate7. But to be fair, Mate7 scores better in web browsing and video playback times.
The Z2 also has front facing stereo speakers which is a big plus for gaming. Screen size is arguable. 5.2" screen is not bad for gaming.

Is with much first hand experience that I want to disagree with you on your view about Kirin 925.
1. No heating problem
2. Faster than Tegra or snapdragon
3. Conserves power
I have used all of them, I've devices powered by each of them and Kirin 925 is best.
I compare devices side by side, not on paper.

Not sure if you're lying, or just plain dumb... The cores amount is one of the most useless gimmick in smartphone world. Ever heard of the 64-bit Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset? It only has 2 cores. Does Kirin 925 run better than Tegra K1? Hell no.
Plus, the Adreno 330 in the Z2 is a better performer than the Mali-T628 in Mate7.

I have Huawei Mate7 and the problem with me "is not opening the pdf file exceeding 300 KB on the corporate email (build exchange). Any body can help in this regard.
Hoawei technical staff given me three days to find the solution.

I agree, since the update the fingerprint reader is really good; fast and accurate. From here on, I would be *very* reluctant to buy a phone without a fingerprint reader. Just so good. Eventually, all phones will have one.
The 4100 mAh battery is a real workhorse, it just keeps going and going. Call quality is exceptionally good. The cameras are good and there's fast access to the cameras by simply double tapping the volume down button.
The 32GB version is described as "Amber Gold" but it's actually a very light gold. Still looks great though!
Very slight negative; I would of preferred the power button somewhere else, maybe lower or swapped places with the volume controls.
This is a really good phone and I'm more than happy with it.

hi .. please mention the model that you are using is it the 2gb RAM OR 3GB RAM model. I am confused with mate 7 16gb/2GB RAM and xperia z2 both are having the same price in my country. Please suggest me btwn the two. is the 2gb RAM sufficient for playing heavy games and multitasking. how much ram is eaten by the system itself apart from additional applications. please respond

Having this phone almost a month now, everything is great so far. Excellent battery life, sometimes lasts 3 days of my moderate use.
Regarding downsides, i have noticed that fingerprint sensor doesnt work that good when it's cold outside, and software can be better IMO, especially because I am coming from HTC sense. I am feeling like I miss things, but maybe it's just a fact that I am using different software. We will see about that one.
All in all it's a great phone, highly recommend to anyone that likes phablet sized phones. Cheers!

Bro i've experienced with that kind ... but for me when I put cover on .... my finger print did not work ... but when I used it alone ... it work great .... I updated via OTA and fixed it .... My mate is MT7-10 32 GB Amber Gold version .....
