Assalam o Alikum, i bought the Phone a month ago. Everything is perfect nd its the cheapest smartphone on the market. The display is good. The camera works wonders. Love the sound performance. The battery lasts longer, i like the fact that i only charge it once a day... I love my ths Phone...

The battery lasts longer, i like de fact dat i only charge it once a day its b3 life is stronger. My advice to every1 out there is that u shud gt ur own huawei y300 ul nver regret. Dnt install many appz coz ur device myt respond slow. Thank u HUAWEI

Hi. I am using this Y300 phone and I have brought 100 megabytes for 30 days once-off and mine were over within 5 days.I also tried to switch off data-switch hopping that it would slow down and save my megabytes but there was no difference.I am really irritated because with my previous phone my 100 megabytes would last way more than the 30 days provided. Please advice me on how to stop this because now I`m confused and feel like deleting every single app on this phone!!

this is a cheap phone with some good specifications. i got this phone for about $130. what i like from this phone:
1. scratch resistant glass
2. good quality of speaker
3. huawei qwerty input method
what i dislike:
1. it has kind of multitasking issue
2. super slow
i don't know how to fix those serious problem, i guess i am just gonna change the phone instead. save up for another android phone.

Phone is great. Cheap and works well. Ram is a bit small but you just need to keep closing apps if you don't root. My phone isn't rooted as I don't want to void my warranty, so I just use Du speed booster to temporarily boost ram. Also use defragger pro every morning, then reboot and phone regains a lot of speed. Screen resolution is great, had a galaxy trend plus, I prefer this phone, and it's half the price, battery lasts longer too.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2014I have this phone and I'm just wondering, can I update my a... moreNot officially ; you'd need to root the phone first, then select from one of the available KitKat (equivalent) ROMs on a site like Modaco.
It's time-consuming & fairly complex if never done so before, and you can 'brick' your phone so would need to be careful if you tried. Also, read comments of any ROM you might try using beforehand, as that will indicate known problems.

It's possible the keyboard hasn't been set to use as the default (which seems strange).
However, recommend you change to another free one from the Google Play store, like "TouchPal X"
