I am from Bangladesh. Using APL L29. I haven't received any update yet. Still using Oreo and EMUI version is 8. Can anyone advise what to do and most importantly Google assistant isn't working here

muse, 25 Jun 2019how about the battery performance after almost 2 years used??Everything is fine. Im using my mate 10 for about 2 years. Battery llife is almost same as brandnew

(C185) UAE Region. Guys iam disappointed after upgrading, bad experience. Battery and fluidity of operating system is not as smooth as it was before upgrading..... Better is not to upgrade until android Q or EMUI 10 arrives. Its my personal opinion

Just updated to EMUI 9.1 (9.1.0.300) with EROFS, GPU Turbo 3.0 and latest security patch for July 2019. Well done, Huawei!

In term of price they are roughly the same (where I live at least). But Mate 10 is better overall in my opinion because it has flat screen, front fingerprint reader, dual speakers, no curved edges, Ir blaster and it will get Android Q. While S8+ probably won't.
I'm not really a fan of EMUI that's my biggest gripe with huawei. If U went with Samsung I recommend to get at least the S9+ in 2019.
