When one compares flagship Smart Phones, PERCEIVED security risks of Huawei are now BIG BIG concern. My bro is specifically NOT ALLOWED to take Huawei phone to work. TRUST, towards a phone-manufacturer, is now equivalent to that towards financial institution. Information security and privacy are equally important.

1) Mate 20 pro has the better chipset, I can't begin to count how many times my note 9 hang on me. The Mate 20 pro didn't no matter what I throw at it.
2) The Note 9 indeed has the better screen because it uses a better oled panel for its phones.
3) The headphone jack will be phased out sooner or later at the rate the world is going wireless, deal with it.
4) Note 9 Definitely has the better speaker setup, the Mate 20 pro choice to place the speaker behind the USB C port is questionable.
5) Battery life? The Note 9 doesn't even come close. I definitely have to charge it at the end of the day, the Mate can last me more then 1 and half days

4K video is amazing on p 20 pro. Think mate 20 pro also same. Has any one tried Mate 20 pro for 4K video.

Note 9 has a much better chipset, bigger and better display, more internal and external memory, universal MicroSD, 3.5 mm headphone jack, longer lasting battery and the S Pen. All for around €200 less! The Mate 20 has a bit better camera spec wise but you'd be hard pressed to see a difference.

I have cerebral palsy so probably the best test subject for fumbling around, but it works very well. It's an advantage that you see the spot if you move the phone when hibernated in the dark. It's fast but it won't ever be as fast as a hardware button.
