7.2 inches????Whoa,my last phone which I used was Infinix note 10 which had a 6.95inch IPS LCD screen which I taught was bigger..Not knowing,this is a behemoth!!!!with an OLED display...sheesh

Would glad... moreme to .. i would pay 2k if was perfect.. i am thinking if my 20x should die today i would go for s23 ultra 512 gb because i am in Europe and some of the china brands are not sold here. i hate to go down in sceens size and it is the curved screen that is the only minus :-)

What is next?? They try to force us to use folding screen but it is not my cup of tea. There is an extra step to unfold it every time you take it out of your pocket. Plus it is thick, expensive, and most app just don't fit well.

Rhonald, 10 Apr 2023try the Black Shark 3 Proits. just not the same.. camera is not that good and the phone is not much newer/faster than the mate 20x .. if anything than VIVO NOTE X is the closest/best choice.. but i hate curved screen and lack of google play hustle to install manually

Fallenhero, 13 Mar 2023Replace the screen and battery buddy and it will be good as... morei am using the fone till now. used it once during my vacation in india during monsoon, the fone edge got hit some where and rain water penetrated. display panel got distroyed. Paid to original huawei service, they replaced the screen, it comes with speakers chip as well. Now its as good as new. The beast fone exactly.Not anyone can replace this.Now its 4 years 4 months.Still amazing.

This phone is a beast it's just so perfect. However wish they would send updates to the global units (c432 and c636) already, it start getting annoying that we don't get any updates at all...

This phone is the best thing ever happened in smartphone industry. Nothing can replace this beast, ever! ifever Huawei can reproduce this unit. i wont hesitate to recommend this to my family and friends.

All potential candidates have grave shortcomings, either there's no HO jack, or no IR blaster, the screen ratio is laughable, screen size is meh, the battery life's miserable, the software sucks (look at you Redmagic Pro 8), etc., etc.
I'll be keeping the 20x until apps start becoming incompatible with Android 10, I guess. But no way I'm moving to something else considering the current offerings.

After 4 wonderful years with my Mate 20 X, it started to have some display issues (im really heavy mobile user) and I had to buy something. At the end I went for iPhone 14 Max Pro, but sorry to say that, iPhone is totally rubbish phone, cant wait to sell it. But still cant find any suitable replacement for my Mate :(

I bought a second hand mate 20x for 250€ after owning a Xiaomi mi mix, and it's the best choice for sure. There is no other screen like this. And everything works all right, all the software, cameras, battery lasts for 2 days... It's unbeatable in every way.
With current foldables you would get a smaller video in 16:9 ratio and with mate 20x you always enjoy the full screen.
i have a book case and it's just like a foldable but without the problems of battery, breakable, etc. It has dropped several times and no problems so far. Huawei book case is very good for this phone.
Vanced YouTube works as well. FNG gestures works perfect without root.
I can't root or install any different firmware. I thought I was going to miss it from my Xiaomi mi mix, but not so much. I just can't use Titanium backup and can't get rid of all the ads, but I can use dns.adguard.com as a private DNS and it avoids quite some ads.
It's running EMUI 12 and Huawei is still updating its kernel...
Even if I could spend 2000€ in another phone and 20x would cost the same I would choose 20x any time just for the aspect ratio and big unbeatable screen, speakers, robustness and battery optimization.

I'd really like to buy this phone but I have a few questions about
Does the Nova Launcher works ? Some 3rd party app like Aod Notify for Whatsapp ?Light pulsing around the front camera? Youtube Vanced ?
And the last question : would it be possible to add another software button ( volume ) to the navigation bar ?
Like the Good Lock for Samsung .....

Almost 5 years and still going strong. Never had an issue with this beast. Actually returned the s22ultra cause it's like a toy compared to the mate 20x. Simply put, it's a beast.
