this phone is a true legend
i bought it when it first came out in my country december 2018
it is now feb 2023 so the phone is over 4 years old
it is still smooth and great which is simply unbelievable !!
i managed to get a battery replacement in sep 2020 before the 2yr warranty expired so battery is still quite good now

Even if it dies on me I will repair, ... morei agree, mine just died 2 weeks ago. it's still a beast but sadly i cant find the mainbooard replacement. and now im thinking about buying new huawei phone but no gg is such a pain for me because my matepad pro has no gg support and i can barely operate things with it since i use mainly use gg :(

Alex, 19 Jan 2023I have Mate 20 Pro, after 4 years still in perfect conditio... moreHonor magic does not have 3.5 jack, no card slot, with smaller narrower screen tha mate 20 X. Also costs 3 times the price of a well preserved used mate 20 X so it's a no from me.

Best beast till date. Even if it dies on me I will repair, replace necessary parts and start using it again.

Best phone i ever had. Shame it doesn't get updates anymore. I have global version C432 with emui12. Will use it till it die since I don't find any replacement for it. Its just too perfect.

My best phone ever ever since i bought this phone from the 1st day launch. the only thing that i had replaced is the battery before the warranty expired. till now i still using this phone and theres no phone that have such a big screen and perfect performance like this phone. i will be using this phone till this phone died on me.

Just found out that the hi-res is raw mode. From what I read. And from more option can drag the icon to the camera main menu... Had been using this for 5 years and just found out about it zzzz.... Have been complaining why dont they put it in the camera main menu, yet I can customize it on my own...

I have the Mate 20X from back in 2019 . I only changed the speaker on this phone. After 4 years the battery is excellent , and the phone is sharp !
I am so sorry that i cant upgrade to anything, no more big phones and i dont understand why . Please make a phone like this but up to date specs , and you will surely hit the sweet spot !

I still have this phone yet using it for 3 years 10 months so far from which I'm typing this comment. Never replaced any part of it and still in a good shape with only a noticeable decrease in battery capacity. When this phone die, I will never sell it or give it to anybody. Memories of years spent with this phone are cherished makong me a proud user.

Mine is still alive and kicking..have not done any replacement on parts yet and still in excellent condition. 4 years old now and its still a beast for me.. Yeah baby, 2023!

Yep no real replacement for this Beast of a phone... Phone Manufacturers must be missing something

regret buying this. Now I can't find a good replacement with reasonable price lol. still using it till today. had already replace the battery and side button.

I hope too bro! Huawei mate 20x users are in pain because they don't have any option to upgrade! No mate 30x/40x/50x 😒

I've sent an email to huawei approximately 4 months ago and requested them to make mate 50 x but again they disappointed us as there wasn't mate 30/40 x, and there are lot of users of mate 20x around the globe who want to to upgrade but there isn't any option, the only option is huawei mate xs 2 but that's very very expensive and having a phone with 7.2 inch display is better than having a foldable one! And sadly no one is making a phone with 7.2 display 😒
