I love everything abt mate 8 ..I can't imagine that I'll ever use small screen again it's so awesome to hv a big display one thing I want to change ll be it's speaker that is not loud at all when comparing to others ,I compared it with the Samsung j5 ...otherwise every thing is perfect

Very nice phone. From last 6 months I am using huewei mate 8 . Camera with average perfomance , but It's very good for night time photos. Wonderful net browsing speed. User friendly interface. Very fast working. Finger print sensor very nice. Net access Speed will reduce only if u keep on chrome data consumption option. Only one issue Malayalam language not available for Google handwriting app. I think that language support not available on marshmallow os. Highly recommended to all.

The comments are very hard to understand. Was something lost in translation? Anyway the speaker is louder than the speaker on my old Galaxy Note. I love the big screen and the battery life is phenomenal. The things that I don't like is the user interface. There is no way to change the fonts. The manual show you two ways to change the fonts. One is to go to settings-display and just below font size should be font style. Not on my phone. The other way is to open the theme app—customize and under icons there should be font style. Again this is missing on my phone. Also in settings there are no headings on the gray bars, they are blank. I have sub headings but no main headings. On four occasions the screen stop working. I touched the apps, capacitive buttons, the notification bar and nothing worked. I had to turn the phone off wait 30 seconds and turn it back on to get the screen to work again. As far as updating the phone goes, I have owned this phone four five months and have not received an update. I would like to know where that guy got his info about updates from. I live I the USA and was shocked to see no reference to the USA when I set the phone up. Will HUAWEI support the MATE 8 sold in North America?

Its great smart phone i ever used. But im not satisfied with the speakers of the phone. If u dont use loud speaker of the phone. Then go for this beast. Its realy awesome. Im using mate8 since april. Still i didnt got any issue. I recommend the beast.

Can anyone please tell me how loud they find the speakerphone quality on the Mate 8? I have a Samsung Note 4 and the speakerphone is excellent. I really want to buy the Mate 8, but would like some feedback from anyone that has the Mate 8. Thank you.

AnonD-143117, 13 Oct 2016guys Huawei M8 or LG G5? also was thinking about Huawei P9 ... moreGreat choices. I had the same problem choosing my phone- G5 or mate 8(P9 is elegant).
I chose mate 8, just because of it's battery back up. G5 have advantage on mate 8 over charging time but the battery is 1200 Mah lower than mate 8. Apart from this game changing difference both phones seem equally strong in other features.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2016When you using the fingerprint will you miss press to the c... moreIt is pretty heavy compared to the smart phones available in the market and yes scanning the finger print is a slight discomfort. But it's optional, you can use the traditional way of unlocking by swiping. As a user of mate 8 I am highly satisfied. Battery backup is great, no lag, camera is not bad(could have been better). In short money well spend.
